  • I'm an American, and this is better than the English version by far!

  • Quite a few Torah elements in TLK there are too. You see in this clip our Lord Adonai blessing Simba and all his future subjects ;)

  • Mazel! I'm a hippie Jew who prefers the Earth-based take on Judaism as said in Ecclesiastes over the human-centered 2nd-Genesis one. This dub of Circle of Life should be a major anthem for Earth-based Jews everywhere! From the grass to the antelope, we are ALL connected in G-d's Circle of Life and are all His creatures! Amayn!

  • @astridkitty1212

I cant believe it, why everytime when I want to enjoy something beautiful and Magical

Some worthless Looser must Shit everything with his Arogant, Stupid, Filthy, Religious Prapoganda!

Seriously! please dont Remind the Disgusting, Filthy, Full of Hatred, evil, Ugliyness, Violence and Lies Torah!

when we trying to Enjoy Beuty!

  • I love how it still says "The Lion King" in English at the end.

  • "BEDARCHEY EN PEEEESHEEEEEERR" the best part!!!!!!

  • Beautiful video in any language.

  • Anyone can adore The Lion King (Both of them!) in any language, but Hebrew and Japanese are by far the best. <3 Both languages are so poetic and fluid.

  • @Uilus Have you heard the Russian version? It's so beautiful to me!

  • This is the most Beautiful version of Lion King The Circle of Life

  • I adore the sound of the Hebrew language. I don't know any languge that could excel Hebrew in beauty.

  • Lion King has to be one of the best movies ever

  • I am learning hebrew and this was a good video to watch.

  • יש לך טעות בכתוביות , זה "עד נמצא מקום בדרכי אין פשר" ולא 'עוד נמצא בו מקום..." אין לי מושג מאיפה הבאת את זה

  • הצליל צריך להיות גבוה יותר

    אבל נחמד וידאו (:

  • And to the person that complained that the words in Hebrew are too old fashioned and that no one uses words like that: The words are lyrical and, yes, not very modern and not used day-to-day situations, but that's what makes it beautiful. It's elevated. And I think the people in charge of dubbing this movie just want to instill some less "slang" oriented Hebrew onto the children watching the movie so they know some proper words before they grow up to cuss and speak lazily.

  • I agree with that. Even the English version of the movie had some pretty elevated vocabulary. Definitely not day-to-day level.

  • @tzohar

the hebrew language is a language of a different time and the Hebrew language has the ability to transfer the words from the ears to the soul...the simple taste of a sound in the ears with the music hearing of the hebrew words, deliver the meaning of every simple word directly to the soul of every human

  • Without the doubt, this is the finest Hebrew dubbing of a Disney song. It's a classic. I remember growing up in Israel, when I finally heard the English version I seriously thought it wasn't as good as the Hebrew version, and in a way I'm still biased towards it. I think the singer and the lyrics just really meld well with the arrangement of the music. It's very soulful. Also, since they didn't have to fit the words to a character's mouth, the lyrics are less literal and more meaningful.

  • This one and the Cantonese ones are not bad!

  • haha i cant speak hebrew but this song is awesome in hebrew lol i wanna learn hebrew now! lol xx i can speak hebrew in this song but not anything other! xx

  • like the song but donnt like the singer the song is ment for a male voice or someone with a big voice leona lewis would be good

  • אלטון ג'ון הלחין את השיר - אגדה חיה.

  • 3:27 awesome

    אווֶסומֶה :D

  • haha very fanny "OO

  • Jewish Lions

  • this version is sooo beautiful =)

  • For me that is the most beautiful version of this song although I don't understand the lyrics (do they mean the same as in the english version?) It just sounds so melodic :)

  • [part 1] from the day we came out of the stomach and came out to the light of the world we dont have enough time to do everything and to see everything that exist too much happends everyday that was and gonna be agai from the rise of the sun, to the fall of the moon everything created just tries to live. its the circle of life shaking us between despire and hope to love we will find a place in it no compromise on the way and in the twists, of the circle of life
  • [part 2] its the circle of life! shaking us between despire to hope to love we will find a place in it no compromise on the way and in the twists, of the circle of life. wow that was maybe the most difficult text to be translated from hebrew to english - i had to change many parts because they means nothing in english or that there are no english words for them. for example "shki'at hayare'ah" means the sunset [but of the moon and not the sun] so i changed it to the fall of the moon
  • Beautiful lyrics!

    Thanks for the translation! :)

  • when i look back at this translation i have a few corrections:

its the wheel of life - not circle.

and in the curves of, of the WHEEL of life.

and on the first part i wrote despire and hope but it need to be despire to hope (like in the second part).

    thats it.

  • Me too. And I loved the sunlight coming from the sky. That means something al least to me.

  • rakevet means train

  • yeah, but Hebrew is much much more beautiful than Arab =]

  • so true... it's the only language w/o cuss words!

  • shalom chaber

  • The Arabic one sounds horrid. Maybe it was the just the singer.

  • whats wrong with arabic its a butifull language to. arabic and herbrew is a cuzin languge.

  • Inspiring.

I know want to learn Hebrew, and I found it surprisingly similar to Arab.

  • Comment removed

  • Same for me. :D

  • very nice, Hebrew is so beautiful. Im in the procces of learning it.

  • I'm living in israel, so i'll help you finish the discuss-

    Galgal = Wheel

but it's also can be a translation of circle..

    BUT! Ma'agal Ha'Haim = Circle of Life.

Galgal Ha'Haim = Wheel Of Life (also, Circle of Life).

p.s., and train = Rakevet. not Rekevet.

  • hoo that monkey is really funny

  • its not script hebrew. its print. Other than that it cool.

  • Ah. I got confused because of the song. "Hinei Raketevet, Hie Mishtovevet, Al Galgalim (here is the train, here it goes, on wheels)

  • Exactly, on wheels. o_O;

  • yeah, silly me XD

  • al galgalim, al galgalim, al galgalim choo-choo!

Sorry. That song never leaves your head once you learn it in kindergarten.

  • the translation is almost correct gagal is a wheel

    eegal is a circle(shape)

    wheel of life

    train is rekevet

  • gagal isn't a wheel, galgal is a wheel. and eegal is not a circle. eegul is a circle.

  • Its funny, because doesn't galgal also mean train?

  • ... no.

  • Beautiful language... thanks
