As a fan of Sharapova I don't really mind the grunting and have come to get used to it but Azarenka's just gets on my nerves after a while. It'a fascinating that they are howling in the same key. They are mirroring each other, and it's a sort of conversation. I wonder what would happen if one of them went silent? A lot of animals will do that back and forth --- dogs for example in different backyards will set up a conversational barking, but each does it in his own voice and key. To everyone saying poor scheduling from the organisers, it really was. Maria had two late matches and then an early final. The final should have been pushed back a couple hours to start around 2/3 and give Maria a better chance to recuperate. However, Vika was too good that day, some fantastic tennis.
