I liked the first dream; it was taut and dynamic but in a minimal way. The second was surreal but dragged a bit because of the voice over. The third dragged on a bit, but the reverse footage and startling reveal at 4:15 add a bit to it. Having different units direct each dream sequence was a clever experiment. Best of all, the ending sidesteps the obvious "Or WAS IT?" twist that most people were probably expecting.

I like it..........one of the best things about filming nightmares is that you can be all over the place, it does not have to make alot of sense, and their is no dialouge.

Ehhh, didn't really care for this one. the dream sequence got a little boring after a while, and the dude in the little white mask that barely fit his face reaching for the camera was more cheesy than creepy, and even that went on for too long.

The first dream sequence was pretty. In the second, it would have been nice if the mask he were wearing had clown features, or would that be too obvious? I liked the general effect of the last dream sequence, though I didn't see the significance of some of the imagery, and you could have cut it a little shorter. At the end, the character's grin was a little too goofy to be creepy.

Constructive criticism aside, I did like this. Oh and Zeebo the clown? Did you mean Pogo the clown? :)

The dialogue was pretty awful, and the first dream (and masked man sequence) was boring to watch, and really failed to build any kind of suspense.

I liked the "trip" sequence though, even if the music was pretty inappropriate. Something a little more subtle would've worked better.

The ending was.. interesting. Again, being a little more subtle would've helped it feel more convincing. Picking up and putting away the nose may have helped get the point across, and ditch that stupid grin too.

So the revelation is that he's a clown? Meh. I didnt think it was scary nor suspenseful. Not to say that it wasn't well done, the 3:00 mark was way overdone. Besides from the fact that its a little odd for a "dream."

Cliche ending is cliche. So the big turn around is that the dreams were about crimes he supposedly committed or is going to commit, AND HES AN EVIL CLOWN! And the mirror sequence, what the fuck was that shit. I love the first half enough not to dislike, but step it up guys.

I know my Critique is a bit over the top and I am sorry. But I have been watching Horror films since as a child and the ones I love best are the ones with a Plot like yours, suspenseful, thrilling, and twisted. What I believe is that this could have been 3 separate, but related films. I love the cinematic photography through and through but I can't seem to piece nothing together of this man's psyche without thinking the guy is Schizo. Never been this upset since "Number 23"
