What is the story behind this cherry Pinto? Is it original or restored? How did you find such a nice one?

@3656761 Its all original ,parts it needed are off ebay ,nos old stock in the ford box. When i found it I paided for it and drove it home .

I like this one. I saw most of these with the forged aluminum wheels. It also came in white with a red stripe..but same interior.

OMG! I had the exact same car! It was my first car in HS and some people would laugh and asked me to race, little did they know it had a factory installed V6 engine, can you say sleeper?

I bought it from my uncle for $50 because it didn't run, we towed it home, fixed it up and I drove it for 2 years. Thanks for the memories, wish I never sold that car.

@bagger101 I have pics of my Starsky and Hutch 1976 Pinto which was a knock off of the 72 Torino.

It had a red with the white stripe and didn't have the glass hatchback.
