I've completed FF12 4 times. I don't play RPGs for their stories. I get far more enjoyment with powerleveling than I do with advancing the story (have you seen my Disgaea videos and how extreme I get in those games before I even bother with the story - I'm capable of getting 15+ billion damage in a single damage popup in Disgaea 2 and I've never been past chapter 1's second battle.). Only FF7 and Mega Man Legends have more preference toward the story, but even then, I powerlevel like crazy.
You can't get bone helms from the wild saurian just outside Rabanastre. You have to get them outside Mosphoran Highwaste, of which is first accessible once you get the dawn shard. You can also access the Nabreus Deadlands, the place where you can get near-top-rank equipment, the kind of stuff you'll find near the end of the game.
I don't know. I'm questioning on whether or not the system saves at a slow speed naturally or its the memory card that has an unusually low write speed. Reading is fast though. My memory card (the only one I have) is like this on all games and it's been like this since I first got it which makes me think the system itself could be the culprit too.
@ulillillia I've personally repaired many of playstation 2's and i can tell you that most memory cards when the ps2 came out were slow at writing the code to memory, alot of the newer ones only do it with larger games such as final fantasy or cod. now i have had my memory card since the day ps2 was released and it only writes slowly on ff12. it just all depends on how you take care of the memory card and game console and the game itself.
Adjust your balance more to the left side. This is where the vocal track is. The game track is on the right side. All of my videos which contain my voice and are not of activities on the computer (e.g. game design) have the vocal track on the left channel and the game's original track on the right channel.
hey ulillillia u could get this save continue it and do a full walkthrough at lvl 99 for th ppl that followed ur method and progress xD that would be nice but it might also be of work
I believe I kept that game save file. I just need to open it up and simply play through the full story. One thing I did have in mind, however, is attempting to get max HP and MP for Vaan, done by repeatedly quitting and reloading of a game save immediately before a level up and, upon getting the level ups, take whichever gives the best increase on both aspects.
For the fastest leveling for everyone, complete the Nalbina Dungeons event and get it so that Vaan is all alone (for his last time). The enemies in the Garamsythe Waterway (level 40!) offer the best way to gain levels, though extreme care needs to be taken here. The "immobilize" spell and "burning bow" are the way to go. You could likely have level 99 within 50 hours this way and since, when other characters join, their levels are determined by the average, they'll all be level 99....
Gnoma Entite gives 12627 EXP, which is equal to 13 Dustia kills.
Gnoma Entite is weak to wind, so you can try to get White Whorl (Vaan's 2nd quickening) at least 6 times for a Wind Burst concurrence. Just return to the save crystal in Rabanastre to replinish MP, but you may have to stock up on ethers, just in case that doesn't kill it.
Quickenings are actually 100% nonelemental. See what happens when you trigger the "inferno" bonus effect on Salamand Entite, of which absorbs fire. Besides, entites are too dangerous and for how long they take to defeat (see the "urstrix watches a battle with gnoma entite" for details for an early on battle with one (and humor to go with it)). Quickenings are just too unreliable and slow. It's not just how much exp an enemy is worth, it's also how quickly (and easily) you can get it.
I'd just wait until after you get Lente's Tear, that way you can get the Nihopolaoa through Bazaar...Dragon Armors, Celebrant's Miters, and Deathbringers in Barheim Passage...then you can level up in Nabudis with Phoenix Downs, and get Zodiac Spear, Defenders, Maximillians, and Golden Skullcaps. I think the Antlion hunt is even available at that point, so you can even get Fomalhauts.
FFX blitzball is not that boring and is kindy ok of a mini game. but if u talking about the blitzball of FFX-2 then it's boring and it suxs cuz they mess it up FFX-2 in my opinion. over all ever FF game in the series they made so far are good enough to buy and play them as fan of rpg's i say...
The beginning stuff is mostly very basic and I'll skip the bulk of this. However, I'd love to show the whole battle with some of the high-end bosses and marks (Yiazmut takes too long - 10 hours - and I don't have enough disk space to record it all, though I could include some segments). The similar-looking one with 8 million HP is one I could get the whole battle of.
By the way Ulillillia you don't ever NEED to play blitzball besides that first game that the story forces you to play. After that it is completely pointless.
It is pretty stupid anyway since Tidus goes from being a blitzball superstar to totally average player.
FF10's story hinted at needing to win that game but after 4 tries at it, coming so close once (the game went into overtime with 2-2 as the score), but with wanting to reach level 99 as early as possible in FF12 (my third favorite of all FF games - FF2 is my top favorite with FF7 a very close second).
its been awhile since ive played the FFX but you may not even need to win that one game. you basically just get some silly items from playing blitzball and it never really comes up in the story at all. You can talk to some characters and get them to join your team but blitzball is boring anyways.
Pretty much the worst minigame ever. There is one later where you have to dodge birds while riding a chocobo that you may like though
At the time, I didn't know that the wild saurian dropped those pieces of equipment (armor). It's not the fastest way to gain levels, like I was doing in part 1, and since I have to go through a town to respawn it, you can't chain the enemy. I'd have to get into the Mosphoran Highwaste or get the river boat in the South Bank Village in order to have a chance at chaining them. This forces you to have to depend on the rather poor 1% drop.
@yomom4202 XD What you mean? ulillillia already fully completed FFXII, so just shut up

DonPedrito157 8 months ago
Dive talon in the Westersand. You have to use quickenings or the poison trick to get it.
ulillillia 8 months ago
@ulillillia why u never try getting the bone helm t-rex ?
SadieI7 2 months ago
The wild saurian in the Estersand near Rabanastre won't drop bone mail and the like. It's only those near Mosphoran Highwaste that do.
ulillillia 2 months ago
@ulillillia i said bone helm not mail, i have gotten the helm is very very good, way better than winged helm.

"Bone mail *and the like*" which includes the bone helm. I've never gotten it from that dino though.

what is the max exp for lvl 99¿?
AsdTom 1 year ago
If I recall, it's 13.71 million total exp for level 99, something around 520,000 for the final level.

hmm i would love having everyone level 99 without having to train ALL of them but trainning on noob monsters is too boring
