@brother252525 Correct, at least one Sonos component must be wired to your router. Rather than run a long cable to the other room I’d recommend looking into the Sonos ZoneBridge 100. It will broadcast the wireless signal to your other Sonos units, it is reasonably priced and a lot easier to setup than running a cable under the carpet.
