  • I wonder what jokes he'd be doing on Bill 1867 and the FEMA Death Camps to be put into gear soon. It's a comedians wet dream to do jokes about millions of Americans getting exterminated! He would have had so much fun! Watch their stupid sorry fucken heats roll in the baskets! LLLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!

  • thanks for the uploads, magnificent thought provoking selection, unfortunately they keep me the cynical bastard I have become. Peace to you & George Carlin.

  • The only thing wrong with Christ are his followers and especially the self proclaimed representatives of his

  • Check out Doug Stanhope

  • I love Pryor, I love Bruce, I love Hicks, I love Cosby. But the legendary George Carlin ranks far above any stand-up comedian who has ever graced a stage. I think only Newton, Mozart, and Einstein are guys who maybe rank higher on my list of most brilliant people of the last millennium. He transcended comedy. He is, in a nusthell, an incredibly exemplary human being.

  • What a great intellectual individual.

  • I thought Carlin was too intelligent and genuine to associate with the hypocrite propagandists at 92nd street Y.

  • George Carlin

    Bill Hicks

    Richard Pryor

    Rest in peace

Those I see can getting there: Dave Chappelle, Louis CK, Daniel Tosh

  • @cheechanchux

Daniel Tosh along with Carlin, Hicks and Prior?? Please never think for yourself again.

  • @cheechanchux what about sam kinison???

  • never found his act funny

he never made a joke but only spoke truth

  • April 2001, 5 months before one of the worst single acts committed by religion.

  • why is it that there is no one else i can listen to like this man

  • @TheFrankrogers Bill Hicks is pretty good too, but yeah he was one of a kind

  • hell yeah!!! Carlin knows what's best!!! Mitch Hedberg...all these guys are complete genius! unforgettable and irreplacable!

  • Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. An artist, a genius, a true gentleman.

I sure wish i could read some of those 1500 text files he had in his computer.

I like how hereferenced a lot of talented comedians, but i'm surprised he never mentioned Bill Hicks, another comic genius and rebel like himself, i'm sure he must have at least heard of him.

George Carlin's voice will forever be a shining beacon to guide humanity in the right way, if we ever choose to listen...

  • @mancamiatipoola He mentioned Hicks during his Jon Stewart interview as one of the many great comics that died too young.

  • @mancamiatipoola I've seen a clip somewhere where Carlin mentioned Bill hicks' talent.

  • This man was a true genius . I look at him as a role model.

  • George Carlin likes Mitch Hedberg, that is so fucking awesome....

  • I saw George Carlin in concert in the 1990s. He pissed me off and then made me bust a gut laughing.

  • Rest in peace dear Georgie, thanks for being there for us, you had the power to make people think better and question better. You will be in remembrance forever.

  • GC, the best there ever was

  • great interview. man what i woulda given to see george carlin live....rip

  • A great listen from which new talent should learn about how to develop----AND, Let's hope that someday they publish George Carlin's Left-Over Materials---he says at 25minutes that he had 1500 unused files on his computer!

  • I've never had an idol, but Einstein and George Carlin are one of a kind persons with life universal understandings of our species.

I'm just sad I never discovered George Carlin until now

  • George is not dead he is in hiding!

  • "Turning it over to the traders and to the priests was a wrong turn for this species."

  • I could listen to George Carlin talk and impart his wisdom forever... Hands down the BEST comedian ever... He died way to early... God, I wish he was still alive...

  • George is in everyones heart. A wonderful comedian and not afraid to rant about anything and did a great job as Rufus on the Bill and Ted series.

  • Oh if he could have been a singer with a hit song like say... Achy Breaky Heart

  • Carlin enjoyed himself in the company of truck-drivers.

  • @ScotlandMaleGlasgow Wanda Sykes is pretty funny.

  • Love you George! Too bad you wouldn't be able to make us laugh with your new jokes. Though the old ones still work well. :)

  • That we don't have a giant of goodness and humour such as Carlin amongst us anymore just adds to the pain of evil money grabbing, power hungry sphincters like Pat Robertson and Henry Kissinger just not wanting to die.

  • theorem [Gr. theoréma a principle arrived at by speculation] a proposition capable of demonstration or proof. -- Fr. p. 1824 of "Dorland's Illustrated Medical Dictionary -- 29th Edition (2000) ...also fr. p. 1824: theory [Gr. theoria : speculation as opposed to practice] 1. the doctrine or the principles underlying an art as distinguished from the practice of that particular art. 2. a formulated hypothesis, or loosely speaking, any hypothesis or opinion not based upon actual knowledge.

  • @ThingsBetweenTimes so what if he did?

  • George Carlin was always excellent. It's expected.

  • I love his takes on God and Religion. Funny stuff whether you belive in God or not.

  • George told it like was, Like it or not he brought alot of truth into the spotlight about how we as human beings live in todays world. He pointed out how the stupid things in life take control of our lives instead of common sense taking control.

  • fuck you man

  • @ThingsBetweenTimes ROFLMAO!!!

    Well stated!

  • A truly great man. I have met a few people who say his comedy was too harsh. Some said he was an asshole. This is not true. If one actually stops and pays attention to the man, they will realize he was a brilliant & always improving comedian, as well as a good person. He taught me to think and ask questions when the world around me would not. Whether or not he ever meant to have any effect on people, he did anyway. I'm glad I was one of them.

  • A lot of Carlin's fans are exuberantly, almost ecstatically in his corner in almost all things.

It's probably one of the times where almost all of it is entirely deserved.

I would not say, however, that he was a "Comic Genius." because while his talent was enormous, "Genius" just doesn't fit his style. He's much more the sort of plodding, dogged sort, who puts a lot of work into it, and thus accomplishes a lot more than someone who just has occasional flashes of genius.

  • anyone who is extremely good in doing what they do either occupation or hobby can be considered a genius in that field michael jordan for example can be a basketball genius

  • interesting... but did not Newton possess genius? he most certainly backed up his intelligence with hard work and scientific rigor...And i feel like it's the same with Carlin

  • It's hard to gauge Newton's relative intellect, being as he's been dead for so long, and so little of the man remains.

It's certain that he had an edge over his contemporaries, to be sure.

There are also those who'd say that hard work is itself a form of under appreciated genius, if that's what you were saying.

  • Best of the best!! R.i.P. George... We miss you...

  • @Dryndal Glad he's dead

  • @TheUSBcable

    How can you say that?

It's 1 thing not to like somebody, but it is yet another thing stating that you are GLAD that someone is dead...

It's pretty bad of you as a human...

  • Words of a professional Christan- your a sad human

  • @g1d1 "Proffesional Christian"? PFFFT HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @TheUSBcable will celebrate when YOU die - I hope it's an agonizing painful excruciating death for you, moron.

  • I love hearing some George that I haven't heard. I always look everywhere for anything with him in it because his comedy, intellect, questions, etc. etc. has been a huge part of who I am. What a comic genius!

  • RIP Carlin, best comedian of all time

  • aaand.......i was right :P

  • i haven't even started listening to it yet, but i already know it's gonna be positively brilliant!!!

  • Thankx for this.......One of the few Carlin innerviews I haven't ever heard.....He is sorely missed by all his sarcastic fans.
