This version felt a little to "marching band" to me. I preferred the later closings better.

They would cut to a holding slide for that particular ITV company. My local region was Thames television, so a slide would come up with their logo and written would be From Thames in Colour.

@philo1978 Ack! They actually did that on Thames? You'd think they'd give them enough time to segue into that ident. Takes them at least 20 seconds either way to run the continuity junction after the show, heh. At least, it seemed that long after watching Benny Hill and other ITV imports.

So in the UK the closing logo used for syndicated prints was the "Blue Mountain" (which was the standard TV logo of Paramount from 1975-1987), but did the original logo's music remain intact despite the newer logo? Either way I'd like to see those botched-up credits, please.

Hi, and thanks for your comment.

I never remember seeing any Paramount's at the ends of episodes and I think the TV channel here (ITV) just cut them off of the prints.

What you mean is they cut to commercial after the notice of Douglas S. Cramer (1969-71), Thomas D. Tannenbaum (1971-73) or at the copyright (final season), right?
