Heh, schizophrenia isn't a condition that causes people to have "sides" of their personalities. It DOES cause people to hear voices, and sometimes talk to them, but that's not the same.
I love the way this was done, it went very well with the song.
Newt is such a sweet, poignant character, like some poor waif in a Dickens novel, or like a black and white cat, or like the most perfect little cartoon of an Emo kid. His eyebrows are like two pen lines. Nico really inhabits this role and makes Newt a schizophrenic hero worth caring about. You can see why Lauren and Frankie love him so much. Your video does justice to Newt's heartbreaking story.

Heh, schizophrenia isn't a condition that causes people to have "sides" of their personalities. It DOES cause people to hear voices, and sometimes talk to them, but that's not the same.

This video is amazing. So is Hollyoaks, and the whole Schizophrenia storyline is fantastically wriiten and acted.

I love the way this was done, it went very well with the song.
Newt is such a sweet, poignant character, like some poor waif in a Dickens novel, or like a black and white cat, or like the most perfect little cartoon of an Emo kid. His eyebrows are like two pen lines. Nico really inhabits this role and makes Newt a schizophrenic hero worth caring about. You can see why Lauren and Frankie love him so much. Your video does justice to Newt's heartbreaking story.

great video! I have schizophrenia and am 24, I never used to watch hollyoaks but a mate of mine told me about the storyline when it came up, and i gotta say he played and acted it VERY Accuratelly he had it down to a T. ESPECIALLY AS he's only a young actor, im really glad ch4 put in the storyline cos it's impotrtant to raise awareness of the illness,people dont understand and Im really glad that young people can understand the illness and that schizophrenia isnt just about being ''mad'' etc -)
