If the animal is first shocked than OK enjoy the halal meat. However British Muslims have nothing to complain about as I have heard the majority of meat products available in supermarkets are halal The British have demanded and received the labeling of meat products. @vrz07 There's not really halal everywhere. In London, mashAllah, there are a lot of halal places, and in the major cities across America, there are as well. But when you get to smaller cities and towns, halal can be non-existent.

For instance, my husband and I were living in Mississippi, and the closest halal market was two hours away in Memphis, TN. Now, we are in Jacksonville, FL, and there are only three halal markets, and three halal restaurants.

It should be prohibited to sell halal meat... the way that animals have to suffer in order to fulfil those all sick regulations for halal meat is just unbelievable... and don't tell me that I don't accept other's people believes...
