I think their is a difference between a MC and a rapper. And mostly every rapper now has these media outletsthat can make them famous over night. But MC'S in the 90's had to earn their listeners, to be battle tested. Now its just rappers who just have to make a song that is played over and over until it is stuck into someones head.

And i think the definition of rapper is a person who entertains, but doesn't put feeling into their music.

While a MC is a person who puts everything.
