  • Need to turn this up to 11

  • What is the name of the classical piece Nigel solos near the end? It's been bothering me for a while, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Please and thank you!

  • Comment removed

  • @skillzbeat It is "Minuetto" by Luigi Boccherini.

  • @skillzbeat Minuetto is the name of the piece.

  • you cant dust for vomit

  • I love how Nigel's solos are always out of tune and sound horribly thin XD

  • That drumtro... hilarious!

  • gotta love that end solo

  • sounds better in the film. the album recording is soooooo shitly produced, but thats just sooooo spinal tap! haha

  • @bazbonehead Shouldn't have done it in "dubley".

    Hahaha

  • One of the most underrated songs ever

  • I'll be honest, I'm sat here with my guitar, just so I can play that last guitar solo along with the track.

  • soggy "soggy" judy "judy"

    soggy judy

  • I think the problem may have been that there was a STONEHENGE MONUMENT on stage..... that was in danger of being CRUSHED...... by a DWARF.

  • I will listen to this song when I am in my 90s. And bother the other old bastards..

  • Puppet show and Spinal Tap.

  • @floridacomedyfan

    If I told them once...

  • I sure do love Spinal Tarp.

  • one of my all time favorite solos

  • Heavy duty female body part music

  • This is is genius, its better than most non-parody hard rock songs.

  • so onstage you like a preserved moose?

  • See, by the look of some of these comments its clear not everyone realises Spinal tap are a comedy band, this is a parody of 70's and 80's rock and metal.

If you like Spinal tap, try Steel panther

  • What's the classical bit they're playing at the end, is that from Rule Britannia?

  • @LeCutter nothing like rule britannia. i have it on good authority its called the boccherini minuet

  • @iFriendChannel Ahh that's it exactly, thanks kindly.

  • What's the classical bit they're playing at the end, is that from Rule Britannia?

  • "You're playin' no solos with no guitar in your hand"...dwidlidlidwidlwidlee.

  • My favorite Spinal Tap song, god this is brilliant. his solos sound like shit though.

  • But Nigel's afforded the opportunity to express himself musically that way. The solos are his trademark. And tbh I think they're meant to be just a little bit over the top and incomprehensible.

  • I think it was more his character was supposed to be the classic masturbatory guitar player who though he was hot shit. but really wasn't all that great. There were alot of these players in the 70's and 80's.

  • You go for lunch, you come back and it'll still be going, "uuhhhhh"!

  • does this go to eleven?

  • Of course.

  • couldnt you just make 9 less loud and 10 a bit louder?

    These go to 11

  • It's such a thin line between stupid and clever.

  • Actually it`s such a fine line between stupid and clever.

  • lol

  • And they straddle it so well . . .

  • They're two distinct types of visionaries, it's like fire and ice, basically. I feel my role in the band is to be somewhere in the middle of that, kind of like lukewarm water.

    That dialog would be "clever"!!

  • @ziffels its just a lil turn about, idn it?

  • such a goog song

  • this must be making fun of judas priest heavy duty. theyre both slow songs like this

  • I'm almost certain this outdates judas priest

  • Lol I love Tap. (I call them tap even though I know they hate it. Two word review for this video: 'Shit Duty'.

  • "Lol....you must be kidding...that's not true"

  • @InTaPark They can't say that!

  • killer slide show man

  • The part at the end is Minuetto, by Luigi Boccherini.

  • what song is being played as the solo at the end? I know it's a traditional song but I just can't put my finger on the title.

  • normally id find u immature 4 sayin it but.....lol its 2 funi

  • I love this track! Thanks man.
