What is the name of the classical piece Nigel solos near the end? It's been bothering me for a while, and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Please and thank you!
See, by the look of some of these comments its clear not everyone realises Spinal tap are a comedy band, this is a parody of 70's and 80's rock and metal.
But Nigel's afforded the opportunity to express himself musically that way. The solos are his trademark. And tbh I think they're meant to be just a little bit over the top and incomprehensible.
I think it was more his character was supposed to be the classic masturbatory guitar player who though he was hot shit. but really wasn't all that great. There were alot of these players in the 70's and 80's.
They're two distinct types of visionaries, it's like fire and ice, basically. I feel my role in the band is to be somewhere in the middle of that, kind of like lukewarm water.
Need to turn this up to 11

I'll be honest, I'm sat here with my guitar, just so I can play that last guitar solo along with the track.

I think the problem may have been that there was a STONEHENGE MONUMENT on stage..... that was in danger of being CRUSHED...... by a DWARF.
