Nobody denies that there is such a thing as science, or that science has contributed to humankind's progress, but it's equally obvious that science has ben a mixed blessing, and that much of science has become a perversion of the word's meaning, vaccination being one of them. It's IMO also obscene that technology to kill people has become the world's largest industry.

I'm afraid our being poisoned with vaccines goes back a lot further than Hannah Poling, cybeavertoo. It actually goes back over 200 years, to Edward Jenner's useless and barbaric copox vaccine he mistakenly thought might prevent smallpox. The vaccine maimed and killed countless children, as wel as some adults, and spread syphilis, gonorrhea and TB, while not protecting even a single person from smallpox, ever.

All I know is that my son was a healthy happy child until the vaccines were administered. Unfortunately, this was a gradual descend and I never kept a diary to note the changes. Why would I. Now, 11 years later, and after many doctor's visits, it seems to me that there is a link. I base this on treatments to get rid of toxins and the tremendous improvement in my childs life. Is it possible to have an independent unbiased study done? I don't care for comments from someone who has much to lose.

Keep in mind that autism is a condition that changes as time progresses. I'm autistic but I never had a high amount of toxins in my body and I was vaccinated with the same vaccines as my brother was, yet I'm the only autistic in my family.

There has been so many large scale researchs that show there is the exact same proportion of autist people amoung those who got vaccine and those who didn't !

It is 100% irrationnal to STILL believe vaccine has anything to do with autism.

scientists have their own set of methods and beliefs to feel secure about their undertakings.Offit and most other pro-vaccinators are rigid believers in the legitimacy of statistics to defend the vaccination-industry. Its their central flaw they never want to adress explicit processes in the individual body.Statistics wont help individual people and calling them to the defence is nothing less then sacrificing autistic fulnerable children (and some others)to the statistical significant majority.

Statistics help because they're evidence and data. If it turns out that vaccines do cause said damage, the scientists will be the ones to discover it (NOT Jenny Freakin' McCarthy) and make necessary changes. You don't understand how science works and are religious in your baseless ideas on what's reality.

Stats r just lists of found data answering specific questions and no other then that. Processed data can help finding answers, but r not answers by themselves. Interpreting and processing data is a science by itself and often misused to get to certain answers. Stats r very vulnarable to bias

Second, you seem critical toward statistics. Great but it is the METHOD used to get them that determine if it is reliable.

Statistic that come from professional scientists will ALWAYS use reliable methods because they would not keep their job ! I studied research methods at university have a 100% confidence in those people.

Because somebody is a scientist doesnt make him/her reliable! Reliability is not a profession. Because something is in the textbooks doesnt make it true. Truth is always one step further than your biased timeframe. Its not just statistics that function in relative space.

Stats aren't good alone, unless they independently confirm each other. Your stance is "I believe my claim that asserts something, but you have to disprove me despite my burden of proof." Stats are vulnerable to bias, unless they're approached scientifically. So, I don't see how I can argue against your position, as it's faith-based and religious... not to mention irrational. stats ARE science, its a way mathematical scientists try to descripe reality in terms of numbers. Its the individual scientists that usher in biases, not science itself.Like i said earlier scientists use their own systems of belief and methods to feel secure, which makes their claims not possitively correct if not weight against ruling paradigms and personal interest. I am the parent of a 19 year old who was vaccinated at about his first birthday. After that he started staring out into space and lost his speach. I am not the only parent who has had these experiences. In any event, I am convinced that we should wait until after a child is 3 years old before injecting him with vaccines.

For instance: What epidemiological studies have shown that delaying until 3 years is safer? If any, what is the mechanism, and what distinguishes the 3-year-old's immune system from the infant's? Which vaccines should be delayed? Since infants are exposed from birth to thousands of environmental antigens, why are vaccines different? etc.

My son was born with thrush (Candida), visible around the corners of his mouth. It didn't occur to me until I read the insert to the Hepatitis vaccine stating that individuals with Candida sensitivity, should avoid taking the vaccine, that vaccines in general may be contraindicated in such cases. He should have been treated for the thrush before being given any vaccines. I now give my son probiotics which has helped him a great deal.

@sickofdumbpeople2008 PubMed....search for the term: Thimerosal, which is the mercury-containing compound used as a preservative in these vaccines even given to infants at birth and you will find many studies on the effects of the compound on animals and human beings. Hope this helps! :)
