onlive of course has downsides, for example you are connected to an onlive server and after that to the actual servers of the game youre playing, which means there can be lags between you and the onlive servers, additionally to the lags between onlive and the game. the biggest resulting problem is that your CONTROLS can LAG too! everyone who has ever encountered lag in any online game EVER, better not take this offer.

yes but onlive is going to have a fee. and its not optional like xbox live. since you are playing on servers you would even have to be online just to play like how you played offline on the 360. Myself personally am in love with game consoles. i feel safer owning something such as my games in my cabinet rather then on a server.

Ok, so a box that plays PS3 and 360 games. what about the Wii. I guess wii is safe so far. What about the fact that it is the same thing as a 360. No first party developed exclusive games are gonna be on OnLive. Only third party publishers like EA are supporting OnLive. No one's getting Killzone 2 or Gears of War 2 on OnLive but there is a great collection of console non-exclusives like Burnout Paradise, Prince of Persia (2009), F.E.A.R. 2 and Crysis.
