  • Is it any harder to fly these things compared to normal rc planes? It just looks so cool. I'm thinking of getting one myself when i have a bit more time on my hands. And the price seems reasonable. Just love how you can hear the lawnmower with wings in the background and this flying about as peacefull as it can get. Love it!!

  • @floriboy17 I got a small one in Singapore for about $50, it flew quite well my kid loved it, have a look in any good toy shop and you should be able to find one in the RC section.

  • What is a capacity of this beauty? Is it possible to put a camera module on it?

  • Wonderful, I can say.... But it sounds too loud... but the bird imitation is realy cool and worked well... wanna buy this someday..

  • Ok it was very interesting when this took flight, but the truly remarkable part was when Nature itself (her-himself?) began to take umbrage. That means that it not only looks real to us, but to Nature too. Great job on this! Very nice to see this in flight. Thanks

  • awesome XD love that rc bird ^^

  • Please check RCgroups.com and look under ornithopters. SEAN KINKADE from Cody WY sell them. They are All hand made. It may takes 3 months or more get one for he is always backed up! I have bought several from him. And yes....THEY SHOULD FLY.... If you don't understand them, they won't.

  • nice. i want one lol

  • That thing's super cool! He should sell those

  • What a loafer. He did not build this Orni like he lets on. Its built by Sean Kinkade here in the states. Going to modify the wing loading eh? How bouts a new tail design?? BEE ESS

  • @tomzah1 Glad you wrote this because I was just going to. What cretin acting like he designed this. It looks like a Slow Hawk to me because I have one from the one and only Sean Kinkade. And it flies like a dream.

  • you're building one too right? so when is the combat video?

  • hahah

  • nice

  • Awesome Bruce a very interesting , and the birds even think its a preditor

  • That's pissin' amazing!

  • COOL

I wonder if she can do loops

  • Great machine, really cool build.

  • realy cool keep going

  • The flying appearance is an exactly bird.

It seems to become indistinguishable with the real thing when flying high.

  • i like the end very much!

  • I can just see a huge wedge tail eagle grabbing that and taking it back to its nest!!

    Very interesting though!

  • that looks awesome! A very intriguing design :)

  • a better version of the dragonfly toy i used to have, until i ripped it up for not flying properly

  • Amazing machine, Must be time for some PULSE jet action soon tho.....

  • Nice flying machine!

Your videos are quite enjoyable, Bruce. Fun and informative. Thanks!

  • That one has glide lock too. great for gliding around

  • I bough the Cybird P1 years ago.

    Worked great

  • That was amazing, great job. Thanks

  • v Very nice and funny and then ..... pollute little, attracts other birds, is silent ... it lacks only the chirping :-D

  • Very nice. Truely amazing. It would make Davinci proud.

  • So actually we cannot find this on the market.

  • That is a Kinkade model.. probably a Park Hawk judging by the size. I have a Kinkade Slow Parrot (older, larger model) and these things absolutely love to fly. With the lack of a vertical stabilizer they do tend to have a mind of their own and will often make a circle or two as in this video, all while you are commanding a turn in the opposite direction. I have the exact same reaction from other birds on every flight! Love it!

  • Very nice flying machine he has there! Thanks for showing us

  • Pretty amazing.

  • Nice work :-)

  • too bad you had someone running up an engine in the background...nice "Bird"!

  • This bird cost $300-400 and yet it looks just as good as the " Festo - SmartBird " which money probably can't buy at the moment ...................

  • now that is great, really flying like a bird

  • Wow...thats brilliant. How many early flight inventors tried to replicate something just like that.

  • Wow !! Well done.

    Amazing .............. :-)

  • lol even the small birds were like WTF

  • That is probably the most awesome thing I have ever seen!!!!!!

  • Wonderful contraption!

  • Nice! Great ending!! lol

  • wow, whats his job?

  • Nice one Bruce and thanks for sharing this one mate ;-)

  • Nice

  • remember seeing an identical one of those in a UK magazine several years ago, can't remember which one it was though :s

  • WOW this is so beatifull

  • Excellent.

  • anyone know where I can buy a PNP version?

  • Damn those people and their chainsaws! Can't they leave them at home?

  • Beautiful Ornithopter!

  • good one!

  • Pretty cool!

I could imagine it's pretty hard on the mechanics.
