This is one of the best sermons I've heard Paul Washer preach. It is a phenomenal, penetrating, and earth-shattering sermon loaded with Gospel truth. Take an hour and a half and listen to this tremendous sermon.
Anyone who accepts Jesus as their savior is immoral. The Bible says we are all guilty of sin and deserve to die in hell. But if we accept the sacrifice of Christ for our sins, we are forgiven. Sorry, but that is simply evil. No one ( God or human) should EVER be punished for the wrong doings of another. And anyone who accepts the death of Christ for their own sins is immoral. Well, I won't allow an innocent person to pay for my "sins." I guess only people with no conscience can get into heaven.
Christ said "No one takes My life from Me. I lay it down of My own accord." Jesus wasn't forced to die for me. He did it willingly. Therefore, it is not immoral to say "Yes" when God tells me "Come here, I purchased you. You are mine."

I neither added nor took away from the text. That law means actually saying something new that the text isn't saying or removing laws from it. All I did was summarize. Even Mark did this in chapter 1 of his Gospel where he condenses multiple Old Testament quotations.

This is the greatest and incredible sermon I ever heard. Since then, and every night I continuously listen to this sermon of Paul Washer. It squashes my heart and mind; humiliate my sinful ways that lead me to daily repentance with contrite heart and tears in my eyes. He is a consecrated and anointed messenger of God, with holy eloquence of words, a combination of gifts and graces of Elijah and St. John the Baptist.
I liked Paul Washer as a fresh, new and zealous convert but having grown in the Lord I see many flaws in his approach concerning Church, missionaries, prayer/preaching in Church, and his downtrodden fundamental outlook of always being a victim of sin.
I will not condemn him but he is not doing things in the finest way nor in accordance with all the words of scripture. "Do not hinder them for he who is not against us is with us" comes to mind. I hope Paul's eyes are opened in some areas.

One of the most impacting sermons I have ever heard. The more I listened to it, which has been a few times now....the more I cried as the truth sunk in. Lord Jesus,how shallowly have I treated You. If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear. This man, spoke scriptural truth that is just so reviled and unpopular. I can't believe a long term Christian is telling me this. English is a bastard hybrid language that doesn't really translate with the depth necessarily indicated to our minds, My old Pastor would spend a entire sermon on little more than 3 verses, going through both the Hebrew and Greek translations of the verses... The Bible's early translations were to Hebrew and Greek...understanding the phonetics and entomology in the original translation clarifies most passages that are obscure.
Yes, the Old Testament does not contain Greek, of course... but the early churches manuscript of the entire Bible were in Greek then Latin. Being the first translations from one language to another it's incredibly important that those were correct and containing the same level of depth. Some words in Hebrew didn't translate to Greek (and so on to English) very well conceptually, so looking at all translations, gives a stronger collective of what the true meaning was.

I agree and for that reason, I hardly ever comment on a video. But its hard sometimes to remember that these preachers obtain such great truths from God alone by His grace alone. We are so used to crediting people with the knowledge that they have obtained. But when it comes to understanding the Bible and understanding God, not one of us could obtain any of that knowledge apart from Gods grace. To God alone should be the glory for it all.

If there is proper encouragement then amen it is necessary for such things. It's a heavy burden sometimes when you're passionate about Christ to know that know matter how much and how hard you deliver the truth of Jesus Christ, so many still will not understand and/or accept it. But friend, aren't you committing the fallacy of equalizing Satan with God's penetrating omnipresent influence? Is Satan also omnipresent and able to read our thoughts? If Jesus is in us then the devil cannot be, a house divided against itself cannot stand. I think we give Satan far too much credit. As believers we struggle with external satanic influences from the culture, but from within, it's the lingering effects of our own sin nature that contaminate our thoughts.

This is one of the best sermons I've heard Paul Washer preach. It is a phenomenal, penetrating, and earth-shattering sermon loaded with Gospel truth. Take an hour and a half and listen to this tremendous sermon.

Anyone who accepts Jesus as their savior is immoral. The Bible says we are all guilty of sin and deserve to die in hell. But if we accept the sacrifice of Christ for our sins, we are forgiven. Sorry, but that is simply evil. No one ( God or human) should EVER be punished for the wrong doings of another. And anyone who accepts the death of Christ for their own sins is immoral. Well, I won't allow an innocent person to pay for my "sins." I guess only people with no conscience can get into heaven.

Christ said "No one takes My life from Me. I lay it down of My own accord." Jesus wasn't forced to die for me. He did it willingly. Therefore, it is not immoral to say "Yes" when God tells me "Come here, I purchased you. You are mine."

It doesn't matter one bit weather Christ WILLINGLY gave his life or not. The immoral part of this scam is when WE accept his death as payment for a crime WE committed. It is simply wrong. I never said that quote was from the Bible. It is a formulation and deduction from various Scriptures, however, such as John 6:44 and I Corinthians 6:19-20.

You just showed again that you are unlearned about the Bible and thus could not have read it "cover to cover" and "many times."
I neither added nor took away from the text. That law means actually saying something new that the text isn't saying or removing laws from it. All I did was summarize. Even Mark did this in chapter 1 of his Gospel where he condenses multiple Old Testament quotations.
But hey, you've read the Bible "cover to cover many times," so you already know this.

This is the greatest and incredible sermon I ever heard. Since then, and every night I continuously listen to this sermon of Paul Washer. It squashes my heart and mind; humiliate my sinful ways that lead me to daily repentance with contrite heart and tears in my eyes. He is a consecrated and anointed messenger of God, with holy eloquence of words, a combination of gifts and graces of Elijah and St. John the Baptist.

I liked Paul Washer as a fresh, new and zealous convert but having grown in the Lord I see many flaws in his approach concerning Church, missionaries, prayer/preaching in Church, and his downtrodden fundamental outlook of always being a victim of sin.
I will not condemn him but he is not doing things in the finest way nor in accordance with all the words of scripture. "Do not hinder them for he who is not against us is with us" comes to mind. I hope Paul's eyes are opened in some areas.

Rom 8:2 divides the old religion from real faith. I think it is a better explaination of why we should turn away from 'sin and death' preaching which is what Martin Luther began to do with the protestant reformation.

One of the most impacting sermons I have ever heard. The more I listened to it, which has been a few times now....the more I cried as the truth sunk in. Lord Jesus,how shallowly have I treated You. If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear. This man, spoke scriptural truth that is just so reviled and unpopular. I can't believe a long term Christian is telling me this. English is a bastard hybrid language that doesn't really translate with the depth necessarily indicated to our minds, My old Pastor would spend a entire sermon on little more than 3 verses, going through both the Hebrew and Greek translations of the verses... The Bible's early translations were to Hebrew and Greek...understanding the phonetics and entomology in the original translation clarifies most passages that are obscure.

Yes, the Old Testament does not contain Greek, of course... but the early churches manuscript of the entire Bible were in Greek then Latin. Being the first translations from one language to another it's incredibly important that those were correct and containing the same level of depth. Some words in Hebrew didn't translate to Greek (and so on to English) very well conceptually, so looking at all translations, gives a stronger collective of what the true meaning was.

No need to be profane. About all the different religions, Satan hides the truth of Gods word would be to bury it in a heap of deceptive demonic religions as you listed amoung others.
Jesus does love you, He stepped off His throne into eternity for sinners like you, He lived as a human in a sin cursed world, He was accused, spit on, blasphemed, beaten, mocked, and suffered crucifixion for people like you, He took the wrath of God, the punishment you deserve, yes He loves you, but He hates sin.

Please keep your opinions to your self, what is your purpose in coming to a place where christians choose to watch the word of GOD preached and disturb us with your beliefs, you believe what you believe and we believe what we believe, you deny religion and slander us for our belief while we strive to Love all despite the hate they throw at us. So that goes to show that outside of Christ men are by nature wicked as the bible teaches, not to offend you just understand that what your doing is wrong

Does it matter which man? opens up which book ? it all comes back to the same thing, nobody knows if there is a god, religion is man made superstition, if you believe in yours that's fine, but billions of people believe a different thing, you cant all be right.

Actually you`re wrong, everyone knows there is a God, most just reject Him as He has revealed Himself in scripture. You are right though, religion is manmade, truth is the issue, which leads to the last point made which was `what you believe is fine". No, not if what you believe is wrong, there is only one true God, and He is holy, righteous and just, and He has appointed a day when He will judge each individual on there deeds and the thoughts and intentions of their hearts. How will you stand?

No im 100% right NOBODY knows if there is a god. Its a bit silly to agree religion is manmade and then talk about scripture. Because you are accepting that the scripture is the work of man. I will stand and ask him to send me to hell, because the thought of spending eternity with a load of self righteous dullards is to horrible to contemplate

You know there's a God, but you have suppressed the truth in unrighteousness, sounds like you did it through evolutionary theory,humanism,or naturalistic thinking.I speak of the scriptures as being absolutely truthful in every way,not as the Catholics or Mormons do(a religious way),there's a difference,even if you don't understand.Yes God used men to write the scriptures,that doesn't make them any less the Word of God.How have I exhibited self-righteousness?Maybe its Gods righteousness you hate.

Shimshiver there is only one true god in your brain, he does not exist in your idea of him, because man created your religion as we also created 100s of religions. Your book is manmade bullshit as is the koran, do you actually think something so powerful would be so petty. Thanks for psycho analysis, i don't need to justify anything to anyone, and as jesus has never revealed himself to me ( i would call the police if he did) but this is unlikely as he is not around to do so. Maybe Alla,buddha,thaw or one of the hundreds of gods man has invented will get to me before jesus. See were pretty close in our thoughts you discard hundreds of religions and choose one, i just discard them all. But like all religious people your in that little bubble of " i know im right"

If a man is conceived in sin, then how is it that God commands man to be fruitful and multiply? I agree with the vast majority of what Paul Washer has to say, but I cannot agree with that statement based upon Scripture, not personal conviction. Thank you for posting Paul's sermons! It wasn't easy for God to save humanity from there sins, he gave his only son as the ultimate sacrifice so that we could live free from condemnation, Jesus died a horrible death orcastrated by the Devil, The Devil thought he was getting rid of Jesus but in the Garden of Eden God said right then, Look it up... Genesis 4:15that her seed shall bruse his head(have power over the Devil) and you shall bruse his heal (not fatal). Jesus was God plan to redeem man from his sin. To know him is bliss.

wickedness is rebellion against God. it pleased God to pour the cup of his wrath on christ because christ took on the sins of all who might trust in him.
i used the word slaughtered because it conveys a much deeper meaning. christ became an abomination to God by being in sin and thus it PLEASED God to rain down judgment on him.
not only did God slaughter his son (which is himself) but it pleased him to do so.
its all biblical, its all there.

That is false, the Lord was not lonely. The lord had Himself to look upon and Himself to please himself. The Lord does not need wicked beings to make himself feel loved for he receives infinite love from looking into His own face.
The creation, salvation and destruction of man only serves to glorify God and to display his Holy character...

Many of you do not understand the purpose of this video. It is not so that the viewers can give Paul Washer praise and glory for his godliness but it is so that you, ALL OF YOU, whether you are saved, lost, or even completely against Christianity, may know the True Gospel of Jesus Christ and not what many heretical men have made it to be. So brothers, do not respond with praise for man or hopes of praise for yourselves through your comments. Instead, dwell on the Gospel. I say this in Love~

I agree and for that reason, I hardly ever comment on a video. But its hard sometimes to remember that these preachers obtain such great truths from God alone by His grace alone. We are so used to crediting people with the knowledge that they have obtained. But when it comes to understanding the Bible and understanding God, not one of us could obtain any of that knowledge apart from Gods grace. To God alone should be the glory for it all.

@GarmentsofGod There is nothing wrong with applauding rightoussness and the doin of the will of GOD. Especially to encourage others to do the same. It sounds like your trying a little to hard and are just being hard for the sake of being hard. @isyaboy13 That is true, also at the same time, for the benefit of those who are representatives of Christ, we don't want to potentially feed their own struggles in pride. If there is proper encouragement then amen it is necessary for such things. But if there is a potential for the statement for them to slip up (even though externally there may not be a visible right or wrong), then we simply need to be careful and pray over them. And besides, God knows your applause to Him before ur speech. =)

It's a heavy burden sometimes when you're passionate about Christ to know that know matter how much and how hard you deliver the truth of Jesus Christ, so many still will not understand and/or accept it. But friend, aren't you committing the fallacy of equalizing Satan with God's penetrating omnipresent influence? Is Satan also omnipresent and able to read our thoughts? If Jesus is in us then the devil cannot be, a house divided against itself cannot stand. I think we give Satan far too much credit. As believers we struggle with external satanic influences from the culture, but from within, it's the lingering effects of our own sin nature that contaminate our thoughts.
