No, Brain wasn't the original. Jay Lane, this drummer here, was their original. However, most people don't know it because they didn't record anything early on. The next drummer was Tim Alexander until Tales From the Punch Bowl. Then from there it was Brain for some time, then back to Tim again, and now its Jay again.
@90smusicfanatic Claypool said he made his own prototype bass that that he would release it to the public once he was happy with it. So this might be it
