if 1: god = good
and 2: god = omnipotent
then 3: why is there evil if 1 and 2 are true? and if either are not true, then why call it god.

Something can come from nothing due to quantum fluctuation in the universe. This is proven when we calculate the energy in empty space and it turns out that the total energy of the universe is zero as gravity can produce negative energy, infarct that's how the universe is expanding innit? Making stuff out of nothing and leaving gases of hydrogen in its wake, as those cool down they become galaxies (rough description, I know)

@JennaRad Christian morality has proven hollow to a severe degree because it does not take into account the nature within a man. One must first accept himself as he is, in order to accept his fellow man, but unfortunately the majority shamelessly accuses others of the things he will not see in himself.
The issue is not whether there is a God, but rather, how one extends himself to others....

For the human species (like many other species), we work better as a group. Most 'morality' makes evolutionary sense.
