This wasn't Evgeni's best presentation, sure, but if you take his worst performance and the best from some of the other competitors...well...it'll be embarassing for the others ;)) hahhahah

Thankfully Evgeni practiced a lot and did MUUUUCHHHH better than this at the Olympics. I was very proud to see him skate like that again after so long :DD

Terrible choreography. Awful. And it wasn't any better or improved at Cup of Russia. You might as well turn off the music and just have the skaters skate around and jump and spin as many times as they can in 4.5 minutes.

Его импровизация бесподобна. Лично для меня он - лучший. И плевать, какое место он займет. Никто из ныне выступающих одиночников не переплюнет его пластику. Женя пропускает музыку через себя, катается так, как чувствует. И это танго превосходно.

Да, Ламбьель хорош с точки зрения второй оценки, а его "ТАНГО" превосходно. Но , прыжков, как не было так и нет. А до ОИ, еще есть время, я думаю, что у Жени всё получится и желаю ему здоровья и удачи.

Что Вы тут судачите. Женя только вливается в сезон после большого перерыва. Вам бы радоваться, за появившейся просвет и возможность завоевания медалей на ОИ. Женя и его тренер не раз говорили, что он едит на ОИ не получить, а завоёвывать медаль.

jumps are good spin's arnt horrible but the skating sucks and so dose the coreografy

Какой мировой реккорд? По баллам? Так этот результат не легетимен, его оценивали российские судьи - самые щедрые судьи в мире. Такая постановка на мирновом уровне не будет оценена на 8 баллов.

wow that was long and full of jumping passes and no particular choreography...with that program he is not as competitive! look at all those guys, even without a quad they're really pleasant to watch!! weir, takahashi, chan, joubert and lysachek and bunch of other guys...i hope by the time vancouver comes he'll do something to that or it would be a shame for him...dont come back unless you are perfect, because the whole world is expecting something glorious from you! that's what i think

I agree, rusicek8ingirl. I like him, so I am really concerned. This was good enough 4 years ago, but this program is totally empty in between, and there is absolutely no choreography--w/ just jumps, jumps, and jumps (he also does a "lip"). Supposedly he's been working on this program for a long time (compared to others), so I am not sure if this is actually the "final product"--if it is, he's in for a surprise...

I can't agree. Unfortunately, no other skater in Russia is better than him. So if he represents Russia it's still better than if anybody else does it. To win is not a must. I just want him to show his best. I will cheer for Plushenko.

And I will cheer for Chan, too =)

Plushenko's choreography is not as great as it used to be. His spins are soooo slow. Look at Verner and his SP Zorba. Much better speed, spins, feeling the music. I am not amazed by Evgeny but honestly It could be worse. His jums are ok but it's not enough to get second OGM.

I entirely agree with u Lala. He's the best!

Also because he's still able to do the quad and triple axel after 3 years of inactivity!It's incredible and i really think that only Plushenko can do that. About spins, yes it's true that are not so fast, but they're improved of what concerns the position and changes.

I suggest waiting for the next Olympic games!GO EGVENI I CHEER FOR U ^_^

Тут другая ситуация - это хореограф верен Жене и делает все, о чем его попросят. Женя не может работать с другими хореографами и в другом стиле :(

Цельность не только от музыки зависит. Под любую музыку можно кататься цельно. Женя катается конкретно на этом видео местами совсем не в музыку. Может, в ближайшее время еще вкатает програму. Будем ждать.

Yes indeed. I suppose I'm a little disappointed because he's one of the greats. I look forward to his return in good condition.
