you can tell halfords gettin old. he doesnt use the fast vibrato in his highs anymore. he does something we in the opera business call a "wobble". its when your voice cant sustain the high notes they used to, and instead of a clean, naturall occuring vibrato, you have to force the pitch to change, and it sounds like a slow vibrato, hence the term "wobble"

Not the most talented technically, but his groove was great for what Priest was doing at the time. But I gotta admit that Sin After Sin album is awesome and Simon Phillips helped make it so! I love the intro to Starbreaker, and he set the pace for one of (if not) the first speed metal songs, Dissident Aggressor!
