I enjoyed this movie. I went to this film HOPING for no character developement. All I wanted was for big explosions and fun! Yes, a popcorn flick! And it lived up to my expectations, a fun film I'll probably get on blu-ray! :)

As always, well rounded review, haters always hate. I'd love to see reviews for the original two Predator movies.

And last time I checked, shooting and explosions are really cool, and imo, they're done really well in this movie.
@mitzibishi I wasn't saying that a movie needs to be all shooting or action to be good, but just having a lot of it isn't necessarily a bad thing. If it's well done, I will gladly watch 3 straight hours of shooting, explosions and shouting. :D

You didn't even mention how bad the shaky cam was. I don't see what anyone could honestly like in this movie. It tries to be much more serious than it should be. I thought this movie would either be a good solid movie with story plus all the action or be a movie with no story but amazing action and it wasn't either. So it was just bad. Complete disappointment!
Its crazy to see everyones mixed opinions on the movie. This is why I think everyone should watch it for them selves and then judge it, not just base your thought on a movie off another persons opinion.

I can understand where your coming from, but what you dont understand is that the actors are portraying the role of a marine, in a warzone, there not gonna give out amazingly deep lines.

Aaron Eckhart was a bad ass, a few good action scenes. Had a lot of potnential but over all kind of a let down. Was it watchable, yes. It was entertaining. BUT DONT COMPARE THIS TO TRANSFORERS! That was quality cgi and well filmed. This was a ride not a movie agreed.
I like this movie, It was only one nude scene away from being a great guy flick. It was like Call of Duty with aliens... Besides, I wasn't expecting an Oscar award winning film, I mean it's an alien invasion movie... as I recall they all suck to some degree...
I agree 100% with you, dude. It is exactly like watching your friend playing a video game. This movie was horrible.
