Can't we just stick to the subject of the video? 10 canoes was a great movie - the "making of" feature on the DVD shows what a noble race the Aboriginies are. Anyone who thinks that tribes are backward just because they don't read should look at the documentary book "we are one" and see how savage and uncivilised the "civilised" world is.

Someone gave me the film "Ten Canoes" and I watched it with much pleasure. It taught me a lot about the Aboriginals. There's also a lot that I recognize and like. And indeed, there's a lot of humor as well.
