  • You all have no Idea, this discussion is so

    ridiculous.

This kind of simulator simulates Bumps correclty and a little bit of G-force. Motion Platforms or other 2 dof systems only simultte G-forces.

Good designed 3dof like Forcedymnamics 301 can do both, bumps and G-forces.

Its all about the money or your mechanical talent. The more money or work/time you spent in a simulator, the more it is able to simulate. But everyone of you knows it better than the other. ridiculous

  • yep

  • the worst simulator i have ever seen. wheel and screen should move together with chair.

  • Wrong.

  • no. you are wrong. when you break a car the distance betwen chair and wheel does not change. that is obvious. this g force simulation working on the muscle groups of the upper body is ridiculus

  • No, actually you are wrong. And you saying g-force does _not_ act on muscle groups is laughable! ;) Duh - You are thrown back into the seat when accelerating while the steering wheel stays stationary, attached to the vehicle. If you need a bloody picture drawn for you google 'Frex GP', go to the first hit and click on the 'simconmotion' link. I own one of these (and a racing license) and it is HIGHLY realistic. You have no clue and have never tried one, clearly.

  • This is using Frex technology, the WORST company in the world for 'schoolboy engineering'. Avoid them like the PLAGUE.. Trust me!! There is a much better solution looming, don't waste your money...

  • wooow i want to have this at home!

  • Yeah that is silly-- just add a common surface with the motion of the thing and add the wheel and pedals.. LOL

  • too funny that the wheel is stuck and the chair is not... he stretches his arms when accelerating and colapses when braking lol

  • Much like you would in real life. 'Too funny'.

  • Yeah, in a car crash...

  • And every other driving situation - it is called 'g-force'. When you break in car, what happens to the upper body?

I own one of these systems (NOT Frex mind you, this company are a bunch of clowns) and the g force simulation working on the muscle groups of the upper body is much, much more accurate than a 'floating platform'. But then, you've obviously never tried one so you are happy to just make 'assumptions'.

  • And absolutely every other driving situation that exerts forces on the body.

  • The chair is simulating g-forces acting on the driver, NOT the car - this is the difference. If it were a 'floating sim' (all on the same platform) it would be the car g-forces interpreted. I build these and they are incredibly realistic, much more so than your average floating 6-dof even.

  • give the kids a go XD

  • Definetly the best videogame cockpit so far!

  • WHAT GAME IS THAT? LOOKS SWEET!
