Gonna go hiking/primitive camping in a few days. Tested this tonight, and it worked fantastic. Im done with stacking fires, this is the way to do it no doubt. Keep a lighter, vasaline and some cotton swabs in a pouch and you can make fire anywhere - even in rain (if you got the right tender gathered)!
