  • @offspring well you have a computer

  • lol this guy is really getting into this

  • Great video, thanks!

  • What do you call the one handed firestarter

  • @AirsoftAzn blastmatch by Ultimate Survival Technologies. Works great, lots of sparks and really high temp. My fires have started every time, provided you've gathered your materials properly, but the wetfire tablets work great too.

  • I have artificial tinder and a lighter. Although I also know how to find natural tinder as well.

  • bamm bamm bamm batman

  • I want to see how to start a fire if you don't have anything but wood like in prehistoric times. How to start and kindle a fire by using the bow method. Do that and you can say you've done something!

  • BAM LOOK AT THAT

  • @omarashry007 That's rude! It's not a lighter but some kind of firesteel (or whatever you want to call it).

  • Thats by far the best way i have seen to start a fire on youtube.

  • baaammm

  • BAMMM

  • BAM!!!

  • Now I could make a torch

  • BAM! Look at that lil

  • Smh... So hype for just fueling the fire with a bit of O2

  • you dont wanna work in the dirt it just aint cool man!

  • bam... oh it went out :(

  • Did you enjoy the boy scouts when you were a kid? Btw, thanks for the tips.

  • So how to you start a fire if you are an escaped convict from a siberian jail and you have...nothing........

  • I like it good job

  • shit

  • BAAAM !!!!!! LOOKADAAT

  • Chuck Norris only need 2 ice cubes to make a fire.

  • what is that he's holding in his right hand to ignite the fire??

  • @YouVRay it's flint & steel. that particular one is set up so you can ignite it with one hand

  • owow

  • RETARD

  • Bang!

  • Cotton wool?!, what a cheater....you might as well have paper and a can of paraffin, he's not exactly doing it naturally

  • @Iotethys its for when you go camping and you get lost the stuff you can use to make a fire

  • @lilD20205 it doesnt matter. Its not hard to use little bits of twig for kindling (he's in a forest, he even picks it off). he is cutting corners where a person who really knows how to start a fire wouldnt.

  • HA hes trying to be bear grylls NO ONE CAN BE BEAR GRYLLS

  • I like the brace idea.

  • @jazzyfishable i guess you didn't see the note in the bottom left corner in the beginning?

  • @BobbySoFamous oops... so sorry I didn't see that

  • @jazzyfishable take ur sack and rub it against a tree until it ignites

  • That video went into way more detail than a lot of the vague stuff posted on youtube. This kind of fire is more practical than an upside down fire stack for cooking as you get more coals. Great vid, subbed!

  • This guy is really fucked... No offense to him, But the kid i babysit is twelve and he can make a fire better then this guy... just saying buddddd

  • BAAAAAM! What a jackoff :) Talking about jacking off, if I got caught with petroleum jelly and cotton balls in my back-pack, I would be accused of more than just arson, if you know what I mean.

  • Why is Emeril making fires?

  • if you pretend the ground is always wet, you aint gonna do anything right. just relax and accept mother nature for what she is!

  • @pokefisherman vaseline/petroleum jelly

  • @BobbySoFamous um hey look on my channel for a good tinder its cotton with rubbing alcohol and it works i think better than the nursery petrol jelly

  • BAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM THERE GOES YOUR HEAD

  • BAAAMMMM!!!!!!

  • ur really just a moron... people click this link thinking it will be worth watching then they see that YOUR BORING AS HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn dude u scared me when u screamed at the end lol. nice video though

  • Very good idea and instruction. I wanna go make a fire now.

  • Gonna go hiking/primitive camping in a few days. Tested this tonight, and it worked fantastic. Im done with stacking fires, this is the way to do it no doubt. Keep a lighter, vasaline and some cotton swabs in a pouch and you can make fire anywhere - even in rain (if you got the right tender gathered)!

  • BAAAAM!!!!

  • BAM!!!!

U ain't barney rubble from the flinstones!

Althought the alcholoh wipes and petroleum jelly was interesting

  • @jamesandtj

It's an instruction technique. He's trying to be humorous and make the lesson memorable. If you are stuck in the woods trying to make a fire, and you are under stress (rain, snow, you're tired, etc) and the fire begins to go out (to smoke) the first thing that will pop to mind will be, "Oh crap now what? Wait, ::lifts stick:: BAM, look at that effin fire!"

Bet you'll still remember it, I know I certainly will.

  • no me gustó nada ...

  • @Replicachile1 u don't like to swim?

  • What does bacteria have to do with making a fire?

  • @McNeelyTheGreat

The bacteria causes the dampening of any potential kindle or fire platform material on the floor. In short, use kindle or fire platform amterial from above ground level.

  • Punky wood is excellent for signal fires. Just a little tidbit of info.

  • The audience seems ultra-interested! XD

  • bet he's got a wilson at home.
