  • Definitely looking forward to your Post prod. video. The effect of the light is what I had envisioned for my final project in Production 1 at the Colorado Film School but couldn't execute it. I resorted to a simple blue color correction. It's hard to light a room that is on the second floor from outside XD. Check my channel to see what I mean. You guys truly inspire me and keep the videos coming. Truly great work. Hopefully we run into each other in the film world :)

  • @AC3Kong Brilliant! Well hopefully we can help in case you need the effect in the future - the video shouldnt be too long now, though it's tough to fit it in with everything else: it's looking like a good one though :) Just about to check out your channel now, will leave a comment! Thanks for all your support and yes, hopefully one day we will run into each other in the film world! Sounds like a plan :) x

  • @mcpupu34 cheers pal.

  • nice advice, using just headlights, one question though, what software do you use for editing?

  • @OperationThrax thanks. we use final cut pro.

  • good work making DV look good! I simply cant use that camera, the cropped viewfinder is so irritating! every time i upload footage I go into a panic attack! (I think the 7D would of managed better in low light better in cinestyle mode) but definitely right not to use it, moving DSLR's strobe and wobble way too much! Also good gob mixing the two cameras in! Loved the car lights, worked really well! well done!

  • @jzalexander you may be right about the 7D, maybe next time. yeah we've noticed there's a lot of extra cut-off between the viewfinder and the actual recording. has caught us out once or twice. just seen your "TRIAL" video, was that DSLR? Looks bloody smashing quality, great production values. Nice job. well thanks very much for your support and kind words. keep up the good work yourself :-)

  • @REELOnlineFilmSchool Thank you very much:) I shot on the 5d mark ii, great camera if you are into grading, hopefully have more up in May! Cant wait to see Encounter!

  • this is incredible. you lit that scene with a bloody car. and it worked perfectly. crazy idea, but pretty damn effective!

always interesting to see how you work. you guys are so creative! can't wait to see more. keep up the good work!

  • @murifilmpictures thanks for your kind comments. I know, car headlights! who'd thought? (or I believe our American brothers would say "Go Figure!?")

thanks for your support, we only keep making these videos for people like you. You keep up the good work too.

  • To know you guys got that amazing looking footage with just 4 people is really inspirational! Well done guys :)

  • @Trampathon thanks very much. it is actually amazing what you can get away with, that audience will never know... & it's more fun that way as well. gotta stay creative and keep that brain working! :-P
