I was thinking about getting spore but was wondering if when you explore other planets could there be species at the space stage to? or are most planets still creatures and can you inhabit a planet?

When you explore other planets in the space stage you often find other space stage species. These species normally have empires that span numerous colonies across systems. Some empires may be big, some small. Some are aggressive, some are peaceful, some trade. You can from alliances and fight wars with or against these empires too.
You can inhabit a planet, you set up colonies on planets which you can then use for trade

2:02 did you not notice the little white flag under your ship? universal term for surrender, i mean... i wouldent accept it but why didnt you just take the city?
I do this! If I don't conqure a planet, I will scar it for good, by turning them into lava planets. So that it would be a constant reminder to the enemy empire.
