Eqbal Ahmad was a great scholar. He agreed to read my thesis on National Integration and honoured me with his opinion and comments. I was not even his student. I just walked up to him after a book review and he agreed. Great man.
Dr. Ahmad was a professor while I was a student @ Cornell Univ. I was fortunate to take classes with him in '66 and '67. An extraordinarily bright and dedicated man. His lectures opened the eyes of many. His books should be read.
@ Elishba71: there is a set of interviews conducted by David Barsamian, Confronting Empire. That presents core of Dr. Eqbal Ahmed's ideas. There is another compilation of his essays taken out by Oxford University Press, edited by Bengelsdorf et al. Or you can look up the archives of the Daily Dawn - he published regularly in the 90s.If you are in Pakistan, first two books are available at Liberty and Saeed Books.

Of course this is true. Thx for the video, SportHunter007. I always was pro-palestinian. I always agreed with my Muslim friends on these issues.
