The neo soul artists are still trying to bite Brown Sugar, that was 1995. He's one of the few artists from this era that could have made it in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. He's by far the most talented artist of this era.

D'angelo is in a class with ray charles marvin and even coltrane and ellington. erykah should be grouped with sade, miriam makeeba, nina simone, billy and i feel erykah is just startin. it's sad how the world takes the talents of D'angelo for granted. decades from now our children and their children will be looking at us like why the f*ck wasn't he appreciated.
