In my opinion, the competition should had been held in a foreign country so that the people can vote for the real talented idol without any bias-ness. If that's the case either Jaclyn Victor, Mike Mohede or even Mau Marcelo would have stood a chance to wear the crown, but my preference is always Jaclyn because she has the complete package of a diva: personality, style, vocal prowess and performance. Singapore is ready for her first female Singapore idol this season after Taufik (Season 1 winner), Hady Mirza (Season 2 winner). I think she shouldn't try to make her voice stronger, it sounds unnatural. However, it was a very good performance, better than Megan's in American Idol so much. I love 2: 30 - 2: 45. She's an amazing singer, she should've won Asian Idol.
The asian idol judges should have been from other continents, in order to avoid any unfaireness or overly rated performance. Then, we will have less disputes in many areas.

Jac couldn't be of that much high octave. Her lowest note is already sounding high. She usually change low notes to high notes. Her voice sounds like a duck. Her low notes are not that low. That's why she's unable to switch lowest register to high in an instant. Plus, she put her mic on her forehead. In music, that's considered cheating.

I think she shouldn't try to make her voice stronger, it sounds unnatural. However, it was a very good performance, better than Megan's in American Idol so much. I love 2: 30 - 2: 45. She's an amazing singer, she should've won Asian Idol.

Jac couldn't be of that much high octave. Her lowest note is already sounding high. She usually change low notes to high notes. Her voice sounds like a duck. Her low notes are not that low. That's why she's unable to switch lowest register to high in an instant. Plus, she put her mic on her forehead. In music, that's considered cheating.

@yauming2 it's not big voice, she's shouting.. you can refer to expert they dont pull off microphone away to hit high note except for whistle note. she's not even has whistle,... she's just a tenor or screaming type person.

@hoboy82 yea and if that's the case, i prefer hearing someone shouting like jac than any other chicks screeching and cannot even hit that high note. this is chest voice, she's capable enough to sing those notes in full chest voice and not even needed to use falsetto.and for whistle register is another thing. that needs ur voice to be capable to doing it, training to get it is kinda like, impossible.thats what i thought, no offence.

@hoboy82 lol chest?? there's no such thing where you can control voice note from chest!!!! it's always been the throat, mouth and tounge to control every register of notes no matter alto, tenor, falseto, suprano you're exceept for bassist who always using lowest deeper throat to the chest to deliver the notes. if she's is a tenor... tenor do not need to pull off mic from the mouth and everyone knows that.. if you do sing in the church you'd know this!

Agreed, she just likes to do that "ngggg" sound in her voice which makes it a pain to listen, my ears do hurt after listening her for some time. Otherwise I'd say she's a decent singer. Hey don't get me wrong, I'm Malaysian too.
