  • Sloth!!!

  • In addition to this and Hollywood Squares, Peter Marshall also hosted "Yahtzee" in syndication. He also hosted the pilot for "3rd Degree", but Bert Convy ended up hosting.

  • Jackie Zeeman was a real cutie.......not so much anymore...Mother nature is a cruel bitch.

  • @Hunter32ful Yeah and so is Father time. Both are very cruel indeed.

  • The great Peter Marshall.....Game shows used to be so much fun to watch.

  • this game show was funny

  • I used to watch this show when I was a kid - but it really wasn't good at all!

  • hey it's sloth baby ruth hehe

  • Merrill Heatter had Bob Qugley had sold their company to Filmways while The Hollywood Squares was still running on NBC so Heatter no longer had the rights to the show (Orion Pictures produced the Davidson version at this time.) This was Heatter's only way of reviving a kind of "Hollywood Squares" with Peter Marshall in response to viewer demands; he and Marshall were not fans of the direction executive producer Rick "CHiPs" Rosner was taking "Squares" hosted by John Davidson in 1985.

  • Who hasn't ever wanted to say they had Doris Roberts in the middle?

    This show looked RAWKIN'.

  • john matusak rip did u guys know that was sloth from the goonies

  • WHAT IS THE ANNOUNCER OF THAT GAME

  • John Harlan.

  • Okay, I have to ask it. Why isn't the opening theme the one with all the "hobba hum, hobba heeba humba" scatting?

  • The hobba heeba theme was only used for one week until someone came to their senses and went back to using the instrumental version of the theme.

  • I rather liked the hobba heeba theme. Does anyone have an episode with that theme?

  • That dude at the beginning screamed like a girl! LMAO!!

  • @gameshowluvr86 Fred Randall from "Rocketman", eat your heart out. :-D

  • @gshowguy LOL! Win...

  • what killed this show IMO, is it's too much like hollywood squares, the agree/disagree format, Peter referred to as "the master of the blitz board", Peter opening the show by saying "hello stars" but nice sound effects and set, Peter did a great job and the game's far from terrible.

  • I now know what sloth looks like.

  • You gotta admit, this show did have a catchy theme.

  • Yeah, I'll admit, it probably would not be such a joke without the scatting.

  • i didnt know there were any full episodes of this show around

  • This was a pretty good show, kind of a combination between Hollywood Squares and Battlestars. The theme left much to be desired, though catchy at times.

  • HEY YOU GUYS!

  • doesn't Sony still own MGM? Merill sold his rights to King World in 1999 maybe King World and Sony could revive this show

  • why did the player only win $12,500 for the second puzzle that was shown in the opening.

  • Originally, the prize for solving the Blitz Bonanza puzzle was $10,000 plus $5,000 for each previous unsolved puzzle. This was later changed to $10,000 plus $2,500.

  • I have such a short memory of this show, and whn this show debut, I was only 3 at the time, that I don't remember if it had a ornage set at the end of it. Can someone help me out.

  • Thank you for posting this. I haven't seen this since I was little. Finally get to see how the game is played.
