It is unfortunate that Gates himself did not follow through on the things he stated in this interview. He was on the Oprah Show several months later talking about how he and Crowley are like "distant cousins" because of a DNA testing that was done on the both of them. It is obvious that his being in the White House with President Obama and Crowley has clouded his judgement and thus hampered his righteous actions on making that racial profiling documentary or filing a lawsuit against the police.

Henry Gates is the director of the W. E. B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research. He knows everything there is to know about black people and he is obviously holding a grudge against white authority figures for some reason, maybe because we brought his people over here instead of leaving them to disease and ridicule in Africa....so they had to do a little work for freedom..we did too against the british and we lost more people than they did.
