  • so this isnt god for scratching? =''''[

  • if youre scratchin, you want the one that looks like /--\ cept the dashes are on the top. aka the setting on teh right in the vid. basically u want as little "Fade" as possible. u want it to kind of turn on and off. not fade. yeah.

  • can you make a vid about beatmaching on the CDJ 800 MKII

  • Hey Johnathan. I got a bit of a video request. Unless of coarse it's too simple to make a video for. Than a quick response would be good. What exactly is damping factor of an amp? Some say it's an important thing to look at and some say it's not important. What exactly does it do and how does it work?

  • Hey ella :-) question:What are u doing @ 6:13 with the pitch?Matching the beats?Sry i´m noob.....=)

  • toConverseche, i am fine tuning the speed to match the other record.

  • Great vid Ella, can you do a vid on x fader tricks or chopping the beats?

Keep up the good work, much appreciated :)

  • hi, I am fine tuning the pitch to get an exact place where it will be in beat with the other song. thanks j

  • u can also use the up faders.... u get more control like that... like i sometimes barley use my x fader at all sumtyms

  • THANK YOU! I need this info. My cross fading is scetchy. This will help clean it up! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

  • on my 800 u got an extra x slightly diftrent and u have fader levels for the channels so u can do the same with my channels good video im guna set mine up for mixin and have a quick mix

  • this is by far the best mixing tutorial i have ever seen, and it wasnt even intended to be .. simply amazing chap keep up the good work

  • Btw , thanks for the information , got that same feature , but it's not into 3 positions , it's a knob like the bass , gain excetera. I was wondering for years what that was , I even asked to Dj SOS (that has nearly the same mixer , but she didn't answer yet) Many thanks !!

  • Hey , J , I got a great idea for you , Invite us all over for a weekend , so people from other countries could come too , and we will redecorate your house all together , meanwhile one of us makes mixes :)

  • very helpful thanks

  • what happened to your technics?

  • nice vid! to add a small bit of info, the "X" logo is known as fade, and the "/--\" is known as cut. and for obvious reason. One fades, the other abruptly cuts the sound.

some mixers, instead of having a switch, have a knob with a "CF curve" allowing the DJ to set something in between cut and fade.

  • Thanks a lot Johnathan, you've been a big help.

  • Jonathan, Are you ever going to re decorate

  • to Maxsdiscos, LOL!!, love too my friend , but can't afford it! : ) j

  • maybe not necessarily redecorate, but you definitely need a couple buckets of paint.

  • hey J good video one thing you forgot the tracks in the discription (I do that all the time)thanks mate.

  • Thanks, great video!
