I would want most firms to be co-operatives and with 51% of shares held by English people. This is the best way to prevent firms exploiting our good intentions.
Rights can be given or taken away by an act of parliament. If a government wished to introduce a right to strike action or remove it, all they need is a majority. The point Im trying to make is that you do not need the EU to legislate for rights such as maternity leave. Woman already had this leave before the Lisbon treaty.

IMost EU law comes from the relationship between English Universities & Germany Universities, its these steering groups that advise elected politicians who are often from business & novices in law. Here you have made a good point about European immigration, however we must make a distinction, the English came from Scandinavia, Polish immigration is not static many people have gone back.

I am a pan-Nordic nationalist and a social Democrat, because WW1 WW2 destroyed Europe & I don't want that to happen again.
I am a nationalist because I want a federalized England this I believe will increase local democracy in England and increase the welfare state.
You are right that there should of been a referendum but the Lisbon Treaty give provision for a referendum to leave the EU
