How to replace the Dyson filters on a Dyson DC04 vacuum cleaner

Oh wow! After all these years, I had no idea how to change and clean the filters. Thank you so much. I followed step by step and managed to clean both the filters.

Just changed my lifelong filter after 6 years, it was jet black. Thanks for info.

Why do you have to wash it in warm water only? It doesn't get it clean.

I washed mine in cold water 15C and Ariel Jel left over several days and cold rinsed.
