Lead Gas Predominant Source of Lead Exposure in Latter 20th Century

This tells us the manufacturers of gasoline polluted us. My questions are was the pollution limited to lead or are there other dangerous pollutants in gasoline? Is there any atmosphere from times before automobiles available for testing or perhaps another procedure for testing past atmosphere by looking at the dead (all species)? And has anyone captured and isolated any present atmosphere for testing int the future?

So the people who were exposed in the 1970's from the gas fumes- what can the big brain neuroscience guy do for them? Chelation? Anything? They can sue someone? What?
