Tragic circumstances like this are disturbing for the following reasons. One: The VT Massacre could have been prevented. Two: The fact that 32 people(almost 3 dozen people) were killed. 32 people that did nothing to this bastard. Three: The fact someone as insane as Sueng Hui Cho could legally obtain a firearm from a gun shop despite his mental condition! Our society needs to change for the better. My condolences to the victims.

the VT community is coping in a very inspiring way-thankyou for your support. and, on, he didn't try to get inside my classroom-i wasnt in the same building-me and all my friends weren't physically harmed by this incident-but there are empty seats in some of my classes.

I'm glad that the SOB that did that will not be in prison where we the tax payers will be feeding and supporting him. But, it won't be long before someone gets on the news that knew him and say what a sweet guy he was and how hrd it is to believe that he'd do that, They don't snap over night he's been buillding and planing this for a while. Yeah, apparently his family were the nicest people, but that kid hasn't been human for a while...When I hear the student interviews about how calm he was when he was doing it-and he didn't say a word...it makes me sick.

Yeah, I go to VT-we were all watching the news locked inside our dorms, and it was a punch in the face when we heard the death count jump from 1 to 20 in a mere minute, and that this was not a personal murder, but a massacre. It will haunt me too, this senseless loss to the hokie family.
