I almost bought the lwrc m6. Went with pof p415 instead. Does your piston have any spring with it? On my pof, i have no spring in any piston parts. I think i saw an lwrc piston stripped that showed a piece of spring.
Great video, the instructions that came w/ the rifle are not the greatest. I love my LWRC M6A2 I bought last year, it has only jammed once due to bad ammo. I almost bought a POF but glad I didn't cause one branch of the military is replacing their m240 saw with an LWRC.
I hate when people say "clear the weapon" in their videos. We all know basic firearm safety. Who works on their guns with a live round in the chamber?

I always know when my weapons are safe but some other people might not know that much about them and think they are evil... It takes up time but when you have 10 people sending you messages because you didn't show the gun is empty you just show it in videos when you are making them... Safety first... @joezbackwith2gatz buy once, cry once. LWRC is top-notch for a piston AR. We have one at our shop converted to full auto with a GI sear (non-drop-in) and it has never had a malfunction with probably over 8k rounds through it so far. It's one of our most popular rifles at our machine gun shoots. It's a 10.5" barrel and we shoot it with a Surefire FA556 can. The recoil is minimal, and no gas/CLP/crap in your face!

Ive had a LWRC 10.5" upper and HK416 10.5" upper currently . Would have to go with the HK416 upper hands down. runs more dependably and doesnt get nearly as dirty. I dont know where your getting your info RCAMPADONIA but I know for a fact they are very reliable. Why else would the US NAVY SEALs depend on them?

The LWRC has a proprietary bolt carrier that eliminates any carrier tilt problems found in other piston AR's (mainly the do-it-yourself conversions).
The 416 is a good weapon, but it has issues. The examples I have played with had issues with standard PMAGs and USGI magazines- only the HK ones ($55/ea.) worked flawlessly. Also, the 416 has had some problems with users in Europe and the US when using non-military spec ammo not cycling properly.
Ruger's SR 556 has the same problems with tilt. That is a factory gun. Adams arms is way easier to take apart. I don't see any tilt using that system.
Both are great rifles. I've been hearing the HKs have been having some problems tho. Can't find any bad words about the LWRC. I think it just comes down to budget and personal preferance..
@scarred4life1 Yes the HK MR 556 rifle is like close to 5K and the upper and lowers are made only to work together. I think some of there problems on the 416 are from a very strong buffer spring, But that is also put there to help them work better when they get sand & crud in them.I do like the LWRC system better thou & I could buy two for the price of one.Also the magazines are cheaper around 3 to 1 over the HK's. Really like to see the Rem ARC on the shelf soon.
The rail looks weak. Do you have any problems with the top shifting? Two screws and the tops loose. What type of malfunctions have you had with the system? Every system has weak links what is this systems? It would be nice to know what fails so you can have those parts ready.
I picked up my m6a3 @ $1949.00 shipped (no tax). I'm glad I picked it up when I did, because the price is now around $2400.00. If you can live with what you pay for one, it's a GREAT rifle. I've had 0 problems thus far. When you first pick one up, you'll know that it's a quality-made firearm. Great product!

I have a non-SBR LWRC...and I'll definitely be picking up an SBR version in the future. LWRC produces a seriously quality product. I love mine. They start at around $1700+. The one pictured (minus tax stamp) should be $2000 minus add-ons. Not cheap, but damn nice rifles. Quality, fit, finish, performance, design etc, all top-notch.

It's semi auto but I like the construction. 1500r so far in cold weather with no issues.
Very tight very clean.

I think some of there problems on the 416 are from a very strong buffer spring, But that is also put there to help them work better when they get sand & crud in them.I do like the LWRC system better thou & I could buy two for the price of one.Also the magazines are cheaper around 3 to 1 over the HK's. Really like to see the Rem ARC on the shelf soon.

It's hard to when not many people own a HK416 or HK417, I heard in 2010 they will come available though.

The rail looks weak. Do you have any problems with the top shifting? Two screws and the tops loose. What type of malfunctions have you had with the system? Every system has weak links what is this systems? It would be nice to know what fails so you can have those parts ready.

I picked up my m6a3 @ $1949.00 shipped (no tax). I'm glad I picked it up when I did, because the price is now around $2400.00. If you can live with what you pay for one, it's a GREAT rifle. I've had 0 problems thus far. When you first pick one up, you'll know that it's a quality-made firearm. Great product!

How long is the back order on the sabr? I'm up in the air between patriot ordnance factory p.308 and lwrc sabr leaning towards lwrc and do you know if they have the np3 nickel coating like the pof's?

I have a non-SBR LWRC...and I'll definitely be picking up an SBR version in the future. LWRC produces a seriously quality product. I love mine. They start at around $1700+. The one pictured (minus tax stamp) should be $2000 minus add-ons. Not cheap, but damn nice rifles. Quality, fit, finish, performance, design etc, all top-notch.

Yes it takes all rail covers as it has the propper notches for the KAC rail cover clips as well as standard 1913 spec rail slots.
