  • While viewing a presentation how can a viewer turn on and off the table of contents in Captivate 5?

  • Uh... I might sound stupid, but can you please tell how to upload Captivate video to youtube? Sorry if this is stupid question, I just downloaded Captivate yesterday.

  • @FinnishGaming - not stupid at all. I should do a vid about it, but the simple answer is just go to publish: then choose the media tab. From the drop down choose f4v fixed frame. This will convert your project into a video in f4v (that's just the more modern version of Flash video (flv). You can upload the f4v straight to YouTube.

  • @AdobeELearning Thanks, it works like a dream! Thank you for your help!

  • Get the math right.. 10% of 12Mb is 1.2Mb and not 120Kb..

  • @rajat77sada - Very true Rajat. I had already corrected it in the blog post, but didn't realize i'd done it here too. Yes - 120k is if set at 1% which is the minimum possible load. Thanks for keeping those eyes peeled.

  • Nice and clear tutorial Allen. You might want to mention something about AS2 and AS3 folders in the preloader folder. My project was in AS2 so I got a message warning me not to use the AS3 preloader.

All in all, nice work. Thanks

  • @toosinbeymen - thanks Toosin, I hadn't noticed that but its logical. The preloader gets added to your swf so its logical that you'd need to us an AS2 preloader with an AS2 swf. Preloaders ship in both flavors, but in my testing the AS3 preloaders are quite a bit faster / more responsive.
