anyone wanna point me in the direction of more artists that sound like this. getttin tired of finding same songs by skrillex, radio friendly song/dubstep and slower almost grimestep like excision
no one is an overlord on a primarily underground genre. emalkay and caspa make shit they want to, the make stuff that they want us to hear and what they think will make us go fuckin wild.
@Skreeaamizm so you dont think that dub police and fabriclive 37 powered dubstep into the public eye alot more. obviously the likes of benga, stenchman, skream, hatcha and various others have contributed, but caspa you cannot deny is right near the top
@12345l6789 yes, Caspa & and Rusko both contributed to and both USED to be excellent Dubstep producers IMO. New Caspa is nowhere near as bad as new Rusko though. Try comparing Caspa's new work to his old tunes (Custard Chucker, Rubber Chicken, Big Headed Slags, etc...). They don't compare AT ALL. That is what I'm trying to say.
@Skreeaamizm I completely agree. This is why my upmost respect goes to the likes of Stenchman. Makes the same shit as he did 5 years back, sounds as fresh as it did then. I completely agree that Caspa & Rusko we're way better years ago, but so was dubstep in general. All the big names in dubstep from years ago have either dropped off or started making floorfillers (including you Skream), which is fair enough, as thats what 'fans' want, after various big chart dubstep hits. Bring back the old!
@12345l6789 Lol did you think I was Skream? I'm just a dedicated listener, and yes Skream's work has almost fully gone to the runs (though some of the stuff he still releases is good). But I also disagree, because there are still handfuls of legitimate producers. Ramadanman, DMZ & Loefah, Sp:Mc, Distance, Tunnidge, Darkstar, Zomby, (all of hyperdub, deep medi, hessle audio, etc...), Matty G, Noah D, D1, Emalkay, to be cont.
@Skreeaamizm Yeah i know. but i like to think of it more of the label and the club that gave dubstep that kickstart. Dmz was Loefah, SGT Pokes, Coki and Mala. Mystikz is just coki and mala.
@12345l6789 Continued: also I wouldn't say Benga has gone completely bad...and loads more of producers. The game is still going, but as it was before and as it will always be, real dubstep will remain on the underground side of things.
@Skreeaamizm I completely agree again man. Thing is, its their job to get smoney from tracks ad sets so if Emalkay had never released When I look at You then he wouldnt be anywhere near what he is now, even though his darker tracks are way better. Thats why I respect the likes of The Others, who've always kept it real. Underground music is underground for a reason :/ Atleast the likes of Kode9 are making it available for us though with hyperdub
There we go . . . that's why i couldn't hate on this song. Cause i knew that someone from dubpolice was going to tear it up. The way it always goes. Right the fuck on emalkay.

Emalkay is gonna overtake Caspa as the dubstep overlord at this rate. This is insanely good
12345l6789 7 months ago
@12345l6789 lol, you think Caspa is the dubstep overlord?
Skreeaamizm 7 months ago
@Skreeaamizm he's pretty much pioneered the genre. didnt invent it or whatever, but with dub police and fabriclive 37 he's made it what it is today
12345l6789 7 months ago
@12345l6789 Caspa was a great producer (his production has kind of downgraded :/), yeah, but he in no way pioneered the genre
