Honestly I have always drawn for pleasure since a child. I am now 21 and I draw a lot less now that I don't have high school art classes or college classes. I would agree with aKitten though, you cannot ever practice enough. As one of my favorite artists said it so well:
"Have no fear of perfection, you will never reach it."
This is very easy to do. Its several layots up on each other (!) and he just make it looks like REAL drawing, when its just "an eraser" to let the under pic (which already was made like a hoax) come visual mixed with his so-called "drawing". And it look FANTASTIC! Keep up the good work! ;0)
He said he wished he could paint this fast, yes it is time lapsed, he's using corel Painter X Two Layers with the AirBrush Black & white this is a great program, Corel Painter Painter 4 comes with the Bamboo Tablet and makes you eligable for upgrade to Painter 10 which can be baught on eBay for around $40.00 regular $199.00
I think you do a great job, I've been playing with this program for a while, is there a way to set a picture under a layer and sketch off of it, something like a trace layer, I like this program more than photoshop but there is less training for corel you should put something together
Yes there is and that's just what mistatumnus did. Please avoid this method.Learn to draw, that way your picture will have a spark of life. This way you are just like filter in photoshop, only human.
@Rooke4Chess, learn to draw classically, don't trace. Its been 6 years since I did this piece. Figure drawing classes are the best way to truly learn. Once you learn to take something that is in the real world and block it out on paper in seconds you will find you have a unique style. Tracing will never treat you well and will stifle your creativity.
this is incredible. but do you always use the airbrush tool for everything? if your edges were sharper it'd be perfect. camel hair brush tool is good for that. but hell, I can't speedpaint like you do. great work.
WoW! THIS really seems to take more patience than if you were just plain painting it OFF the computer! The rick texture you ultimately create is truly amazing!
Do any of you reckon I should paint my bedroom wall with the Figure 8 spirals

hey what tool are you using when you sort of blur the lines for shading... when you scribble a little white and then blur it for shading?

You have quite the talent. And good taste in music. Although the thumbnail made it look like Q Tip from ATCQ. I think the nose might be too big.
