Joe skates strictly freestyle, but Rodney skates his own street-freestyle hybrid, which is why people see him as the one of the best skaters. Rodney skated back when freestyling was popular, so when street came into style, he mended the two together, and made an extraordinary result.

Rodney is the past and present, without him freestyle would have been dead long ago.

Freestyle is still alive, thanks to the old schoolers who came back to show everyone we're still a community. All the new generation skaters, such as Joe, dominated their own styles with a passion.

Haha, I do not know where I heard it, but here it is. In freestyle the only thing that hurts you is the ground. In street, it is rails, boxes, stairs, ledges, and loading docks.

"The next Rodney Mullen" is beyond a cliche at this point. But you can tell Flemke studied a lot of Mullen's later freestyle stuff. No hadned 50/50 flip to 50/50... Not many have done those, and I have seen a lot. The no handed 50/50 1 1/2 flip to the other truck, only seen Rodney do that. Also he has other footage of his 1 1/4 flip to railslide, rail shove-it out. Has definitely studied Rodney, and has very good command of his 50/50's. Oh, and not to mention the Casper 360 1 1/2 flip...ouch
