I don't support the war but I am married to a Marine and I am proud. The men and women who fight and protect our country have my respect. They fight for our freedom so even ignorant people who say dumb remarks about our armed forces can have their freedom of speech. I have became well educated about the Marines and how hard they work. They are constantly on call 24/7 like a doctor but do not get paid nearly as much as doctors.

I'd just like to point something that Bush did to point out why we were really there. Operation: Iraqi Liberation, (O.I.L. for short). Also, My cousin is in boot camp right now. He gets a ten day furlough soon, and then I'm pretty sure they'll send him out. Not a day goes by that i don't fear that he's going to come back in a pine box, and that tears me up inside. He's like a brother to me, and I'm afraid to lose him.

My father was in the United States Air Force fixing aircraft. My grandfather served in the Army in World War II, and thankfully, he came home alive. (I never knew him. He died when my father was 17) I plan to follow in their footsteps when I graduate high school.

The media only wants to exploit what happens in war. Those of us who watch our brothers die understand the sacrifice. I've served in Afghanistan and know firsthand the feeling of helplessness when pounding the chest of a fellow troop who is dead, hoping to bring life back to their body. War is an ugly business, and the burden is borne by those who serve. War is Hell, and the experiences last forever in the mind. This song signifies a portion of the anguish. Thank you, LP!!!

many people do critisize bush's decision to get involved over in iraq. i am not a huge fan of the war myself, but i do believe that bush had good intentions for getting involved. i think that he wanted the people over there to have a better life and that is what our soldiers are fighting for.

I'd just like to point something that Bush did to point out why we were really there. Operation: Iraqi Liberation, (O.I.L. for short). Also, My cousin is in boot camp right now. He gets a ten day furlough soon, and then I'm pretty sure they'll send him out. Not a day goes by that i don't fear that he's going to come back in a pine box, and that tears me up inside. He's like a brother to me, and I'm afraid to lose him.

Ok so if someone bombed you libs you wouldnt bomb or fight back? That was iraq! We went there to shutdown al Qaeda and the Taliban there were so many enemies there even tribes that fought against us we couldn't hope to win but we were keeping them from coming over here. @SuperThegreatguy Technically, we weren't bombed by Iraq. the ringleader of the attack, Mohamed Atta, was a man from Egypt. Out of nineteen hijackers, Fifteen were from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt (Atta), and one from Lebanon

you know it's not easy to just end a war all of sudden and it takes a lot of time and money to bring back the soldiers. but it was either the CIA or FBI's fault, 'cause they told Bush that they had a WSMD (Weapon's' of Mass Destruction) and so yeah he sent soldiers and started the war
