Normally, Pat speaks for me, but I'm surprised by his conclusions in this piece. First of all, I beg to differ on the point of whether or not Jerusalem is Jewish. Jews have been living in Jerusalem for thousands of years--before Islam was even invented. Not every Jew was exiled, and I know Israelis who are sixth generation, which certainly pre-dates the Modern State of Israel. And in the 1967 war, Israel captured East Jerusalem, West Jerusalem was already Jewish.
