More evidence is the final battle against Vermillion. Eiji pretty much talks like a hero again lol in the pre-battle cutscene.

But yea, Eiji is 33 here. He died his hair. In terms of personality, I got it wrong. He was more or less aloof more than anything. Like if you play Team Eiji's story mode...Eiji pretty much asks who they want to fight and then he says no problem. Eos and Zero aren't evil. When Eiji and Subaru encounter each other, surprisingly Subaru doesn't hold back like Eiji did against Sho, I think while the fight happeend...Eiji was talking down to Subaru so that he'd tap into his powers.

@Kiseirusama So true. The only people that defeated him were Sho(First two games) and Ripper. Eiji did defeat Sho in the third game though.

Iaido was way cooler than what he used to do for the previous games. I wish this series would've actually developed...The graphics actually seemed to get worse over time.

lol. Yea, i think he did something to his hair. He changed his look, for the purpose of running the organization to lure Vermillion. He looks ruthless and cold, but he's still good deep down.

Actually, In the story...Subaru actually makes it to where he fights Eiji...Eiji more or less fights him to "test" his power and despite his cold demeanor, is proud of him and only is cold because he has to fight Verm. Eiji then kills Verm and they reunite i think.
