I think a lot of people put down Star cause the show made her out to be the happy peepy one of the group. And she didn't get her own little 2-part episode arc like the others did so we really don't know anything about her. Truth is she's does have other emotions, they just weren't shown very often (can't take away any of the others angst!) but from what I read online in the comic her parents and brother were both murdered so theres angst for ya! ;3
