Naaaah. I play with fingers myself, but I've realised that quite a lot of the the bassplayers I 'admire' use picks.

It gives a completely different tone, so if a bassplayer uses a pick it's not (at least not always) 'cause it's easier.

nah, i played it through my pedalboard, recorded my bass live using a boss rc 20xl loop pedal then used the whammy pitched it up 1 octave/ then 2 octaves to get it to sounds guitarish

uh, he's using a guitar whammy in this. can't see the settings from the angle, but it's only going up, so i would think if you had a guitar whammy you could figure it out pretty easily since you can see him push it all the way up at points.

no my whammy does not have the 5th/1up... and im using a sansamp gt2, line 6 delay modeler, ibanez phaser,whammy 4,boss rc20xl (ithink..it was the improved version) boss metal zone,chorus from my preamp, and a lil compression from a waves plugin in pro tools
