What a joke. Ignorant cunts. Europeans must be retarded low lifes. The Challenger beat all. Eurotrash must be the most pathetic pieses of shit on earth.
they have some stupid choices. gtr vs. fit? wtf. why the hell would you pit those two in the same class? they should have different classes like they did for the speed test thing or whatever it was. the one with like under 30k, 30k-60k, etc.
At least they chose a coty that would be considered a classic. Some previous choices from the 90s are laughable, Cirrus, Malibu, Caravan, Town car, Probe gt, CAprice, Seville. These cars are barely running a decade later unless totally rebuilt. They should only consider cars that would be worth restoring or preserving 30 years from now.
zr1 cost a few pennies more than a gtr so if you want a comparison between the zr1 and gtr wait for the vspec, because in reality you compare the gtr to the z06
True, the Zr1 does cost more, but if money is an issue, reliability should be too. If you drove that GT-R hard for a few months, you would spend more money on just repairs than you would to buy a completely new ZR1. I was just making the comment because no corvette was ever compared (that I saw)
you make a valid point but no one can be sure of the running cost for each car if they themselves have not driven both. and the zr1 is probably not as well rounded as the gtr, perhaps more reliable, but gtr maybe more suitable for day to day needs as well as good for track purposes.
The point I was trying to make is the transmission. The GT-R's tranny is weak and will break if the launch feature is used often. If the car was driven too hard too, it voids the warrenty. $20k down the drain for a new tranny.
Not to be rude or anything (because I do think the GT-R is a sweet ride) but I don't see how the GT-R is more suitable for day to day needs. After all, isn't reliability what a daily drive should have? So how is it more well rounded?
but well who is gonna abuse their car everyday, how is that at all practical? as a daily drive and weekend run i think most cars are fine for such a thing and i doubt the gtr would be any different
Why on earth would the CHALLENGER win CAR OF THE YEAR? It's a good looking car - but come on.

Right away they disqualify all the American cars. . . . predictable. It's awful how car magazines don't give them a chance anymore.

Im pretty fond of the Challenger and that new Lincoln MKS, but naturally, they rule those out.

I can't believe they would choose the Honda Fit over the Dodge Challenger after the first round. I'm still scratching my head over that one.

He sounds like he's taking a Sunday drive! 100 mph? No big deal. :)
The GT-R will win. I may be a Corvette guy (hence my name), but I'm rooting for the GT-R.

dude it was judged on 3 criteria
one of them is value for money
