my nights chao is pink/purple and on it's hands it's striped a dark blue up to the elbow, same with its feet to the knees and his little spikes on the back of his head does the same. her wings are white and fade to neon blue with pink at the tips. it's pretty badass xD

Both are GREAT games, but for the chao, SA2

But the overworld in SA is awesome. Also, NiGHTS kicked ass.

@blooboy4747 Um Yeah. Yeah they do. NiGHTS was a character from an old 1996 Sega Saturn game. This character has recieved many cameos in Sega/Sonic Team games. Just as you can get character chao, such as Sonic and knuckles, you can get a NiGHTS chao. This chao is normally pink to deep purple with two horns coming out the back of it's head, just like the character it was referencing. This is also the purple chao being shown in the video.

@KyraWolf Then by your definition, is the Ninja chao a real reference? it doesn't even LOOK like they thought of ninja. also, neutral/fly/none has straight spikes, neutral/fly/power makes the spikes curl outwards like a scorpion tail, neutral/fly/fly becomes dark purple, neutral/fly/swim extends the head out and makes the feet flat, and neutral/fly/run curves the spikes in.

The Ninja chao is named for what it looks like. Just like the NiGHTS chao was.

And the neutral/fly/neutral is the beginning of the NiGHTS chao. When it gets to the fly/fly stage, it turns the dark purple, and the horns grow out a bit longer and curve downwards a bit, becoming the final NiGHTS' chao. It's a nod by Sega to another game, and some fans caught it. Sorry if you can't see the resemblance, but the fans sure can.

Also, the fact that a 'Neutral' and 'Flying' chao turns purple and grows out two jester-like horns with stripes from the back of it's head representing another Sega character who happens to be 'Neutral' and 'flies' with a jester hat doesn't strike you as odd? It's obviously a reference to one of their once-forgotten franchises. It may not have been 'officially' named by Sega as 'The NiGHTS chao', but it's painfully obvious what character they're referencing.

I disagree still. I love the SA2 gameplay cuz you don't go flying through walls! xD Its awful trying to play one of Sonic's levels when you fall through a wall and end up in Knuckles'! (like in the ruin thing)

@SonicAndNiGHTS SA1 has a blend of speed, platforming, and exploration in every stage. SA2 gives Sonic and Shadow most of the speed, Knux and Rouge the exploration, and Eggman and tails the platforming. also, there are 6 ways to play in SA1, SA2 has 3. SA1 Sonic=SA2 Sonic=Shadow,SA1 Knux=SA2 Knux=Rouge, and SA1 E-102 "γ" Gamma=Eggman=SA2 Tails.
