I'm jus wondering why this is the 14th video of 75? this is only very basic applied maths... much simpler than linear algebra. :P no disrespect, your video's are excellent, but seems this should be taken as a more introductory video

Why did you multiply 5 x 88 in the first problem?

he multiplied 88 times 5 because you're getting rid of the denominator, when you multiply 88 times 5 you no longer have the denominator and you can just solve for x. Hope that helps
