  • The TRUTH is that NETWORK NIGHTLY NEWS LIES and makes you feel you can TRUST THEM to tell you when DISCOVERIES IN CANCER are made. Now please think about it. If a CURE would make you LOSE TRILLIONS of dollars would you admit it? OF COURSE NOT! CANCER IS EASILY PREVENTABLE BUT THEN BIG PHARMA WOULD LOSE TRILLIONS IF YOU LOSERS ON YOUTUBE KNEW SO THEY KEEP LYING AN DYOU BELIEVE THEM....WAKE UP AND SMELL THE FUCKING TRUTH! Youtube keeps most stupid. BUT NOT MANQUE15 !!! Truth is Suppressed

  • Jesus is a magic cure I was delivered from alcohol 20 years ago never touched it again....

  • It really helped me to WORK the 12 step program WITH humility AND get healthy with ALL the freaking vitamins and minerals that had been missing from my diet since childhood. Liquid vitamins and minerals get absorbed best.

  • you silly bugger haha

  • Great advise it is in the mind. This is definitely true.

  • lol hell yeshangovers cased by smoking

  • It is really easy. Just don't drink anymore. Choose reality. Addiction is a marketing illusion. There is really no such thing.

  • @HamidLorette I was a little taken back by your replies. You are incorrect about my religion. I recently had a death in my family caused by habitual drinking. I quit drinking in January when it happened. I had drank daily for almost 40 years. The experience made me question the whole premise of addiction. Peace and Love.

  • I try to quit. It last a week at tops. Then I pound a 60 of whiskey. Not even from peer pressure. Just be being alone and trying to kill the boredom.

  • get the book "RATIONAL RECOVERY'. It works and is along the lines of what she's talking about- quitting on your own.

  • I have two words for you: Allen Carr.

I started reading his book really skeptical, and I knew everything in it before. But when you analyze all the facts about drinking, one by one, you will not want to drink, and it will be easy. I feel stupid I did not think of it myself.

  • Your ALL WRONG... I dont care what you or who you have known has gone through.... There is a cure... Its called Jesus....He is the cure to all diseases. AMENNNNNNNN!!!!!!!

  • Most have 2 hit bottom,I drank from 15 been sober 4 yrs,I'm 46 had 2 stop lost license screwed pooch. Was'nt full blown but craved it bad,So i took methadone 2 get buzzed got hooked,Had 2 quit supply dried up [a week of torture].Dont crave spirits anymore but will have wine or beer socailly once in a great while,Was lucky i think.

  • my life isnt good enough to not be drinking, i drink responsively though

  • drop all your friends who drink heavy, try and move to a new area,i needed to do these things, do things what make you happy try and mix at groups and such,if you live on your own ,join groups and try and make friends,i found it hard when i was living on my own and drink crept back,i also bought a dog to give me company.booze thrives on loneliness and depression.good luck

  • @TheStaffy75 -- oh shut up. To get sober you need AA or nothing.

  • Be sure to explore other options than AA. It's 2011 now and there are different approaches better suited for some people.

  • I was a really fun drinker for pretty much 26 years. I really started drinking a lot when I was 22. Then started drinking more often but got really drunk less, but still did. Over the last 3 years of my drinking Something changed. Last year for the first time ever I couldn't stop when I wanted to. I was getting up in the morning and getting drinks to stop the anxiety and depression. I tried and tried to stop on my own but couldn't.Now doing GREAT &sober thanks to change of lifesyle & AA!

  • @NuFrontman same here...normal all my life but last 2.5 years 'someting changed'. what other lifestyle changes did you make?

  • go to AA to stop drinking, it worked for many people including myself. 1 day at a time.

  • You're an angel of the internet, Such a rare species....

After watching these I always smile and I often have a good day as well ;-)

    Thank you!

  • I love my drink... with that said, I once went on a 30 day no drinking challenge, and I was really pleased with how much money I saved, among other things... drinking really affects memory and concentration........ and it affects memory and concentration.

  • im a binge drinker and just finished a 7 day binge and feel like shit at one point i had a panic attack and thought i was going to die and wont drink now for three or four week my problem is the first drink i know i cant have one drink but you think its ok because ive been sober for weeks hmmmmmmm going round in circles

  • @madzior495 i know how that feels sounds like me

  • ok, imagine yourself clean and sober 6 months from now....... now..... were r u going to be hanging out, who are your friends going to be, if these answers are the same drinking buddies and bar schene's but with no liqueur, your in trouble.

  • thank you so much

  • your hot

  • i stoped drinking for like a hour once then relized i needed a beer

  • @swd6969 Hahhahahha!!

  • I stopped drinking one week ago after 5 years of daily drinking (not crazy amounts, but 350ml whiskey per day on average). I wouldnt have stopped if I hadnt taken too many painkillers for one month (for a neck problem).

  • Please keep talking, because u are making sense of a lot of stuff that has been confusing me for years... Even the random things u thing ur talking about, is actually probably making a lot of sense to a lot of people...

  • FINAL PART 12: ONE THE ONE HAND YOU HAVE THE EFFECT OF OPIATES (READ PARTS 1-4), ON THE OTHER HAND, YOUR CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM IS DEPRESSED (READ PARTS 5-11). THESE COUNTERACTING EFFECTS, ALONG WITH THE FACT THAT ACETALDEHYDE IS A TOXIC POISON, SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO OPEN ANYONE'S EYES TO THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT ALCOHOL. THE RESEARCH IS THERE AND HAS PROVEN ALL THESE THINGS. MANY PEOPLE STAND WITH ME TO WISH FOR EVERYONE A LONG, HAPPY, HEALTHY, VIBRANT LIFE WITHOUT ALCOHOL. CHEERS TO THAT!!

  • PART 11: With all of this activity going on. Recall PART 1-4, it is little wonder that the brain gets thrown into "SHOCK" and the body response is abnormal to how it normally functions. SERATONIN, DOPAMINE, G.A.B.A., AND N.M.D.A. are only a few of the NT's that are affected by Acetaldehyde. There are many others affected also. There isn't enough space to type it all out. BUT WITH THIS SMALL AMOUNT OF INFORMATION, IT IS EASY TO SEE THE EFFECTS ALCOHOL. It is deadly and best avoided.

  • PART 10: BUT REMEMBER, N.M.D.A. (the excitatory NT) is being inhibited (blocked) by the Acetaldehyde. This helps explain why the Central Nervous System becomes "depressed". The crucial link here is when your CNS is depressed, YOU become depressed also. REMEMBER THE SONG "THERE'S A TEAR IN MY BEER"? This chemical Acetaldehyde is like a Ninja Warrior in the brain. It is powerful and strong. But it is a toxic poison, and the brain literally suffers with each strand that's allowed to enter.

  • PART 9: The G.A.B.A. NT is flowing wide open. This is where you have the INITIAL jolly old good feeling after the first drink. The "INHIBITORY" NT is in overdrive making giving you a PSEUDO feeling of relaxation. "I need a drink to relax," says the stressed out patron to the bartender. Well, the overflow of G.A.B.A. makes it seem like that is exactly what is happening. AFTER ALL, DIDN'T YOU FEEL 'RELAXED' AFTER YOUR FIRST DRINK OF ALCOHOL? EASED THE "TENSION" DIDN'T IT? READ PART 10 NOW.

  • PART 8: This is why people are advised to NOT DRINK AND DRIVE! Impaired motor control can cause devastation to the lives of others or death to the person driving. Let's look at the second NT. N.M.D.A. Okay. This one is an EXCITATORY neurotransmitter. But Alcohol, when converted to Acetaldehyde, INHIBITS this EXCITATORY N.T. Where the neuron is supposed to fire some N.M.D.A. it can't. So read part 9, the next part, to really put all of this together. KEEP READING TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS!

  • PART 7: This is where you get the phrase that alcohol "relaxes inhibitions". BUT THE PROBLEM WITH THIS... IT IS A PLAY ON WORDS. IT RELAXES THE FACILITATION OF THE INHIBITORY NEUROTRANSMITTER is what it should say. But people think that it literally means "it makes me feel better". No. What it really means is that it is dulling the Central Nervous System by ALLOWING too much inhibitory neurotransmitter to pass through, THEREBY SLOWING MUSCLE COORDINATION AND REFLEXES. "Impaired control".

  • PART 6: When acetaldehyde gets into the synapse (the space between neurons) the neuron that normally produces G.A.B.A. says, "whoa! what's this? Looks like I don't need to produce anymore G.A.B.A. because there is PLENTY in there right now!" What does this mean? It means that acetaldehyde ACTUALLY MIMICS G.A.B.A. and fools the brain into thinking there is an abundance of it in the synapse. Acetaldehyde and G.A.B.A. are so similar in chemical composition, the brain can't tell the difference.

  • NEW DAY: PART 5: Two other neurotransmitters in the brain that receive very little fanfare are G.A.B.A. and N.M.D.A. These are called "regulatory" NT's. WHEN ACETALDEHYDE SETS UP CAMP in the synapses of NT's that produce these two chemicals, very erratic and confusing things happen. Let me explain: G.A.B.A. is an INHIBITORY neurotransmitter. It is responsible for keeping the heart beat and organ functions in "check", inhibiting their action from "going too fast". See next part>>>>>>>

  • FINAL PART 4: There are far too many people in this world who truly do not understand how alcohol destroys the brain. Every time a person takes a drink, they set in motion the events described in PART 1-3. It is unavoidable. Acetaldehyde is a deadly foe to the human body. It is responsible for catastrophic destruction not only in the brain, but also at the cellular level throughout the body, changing the shape of protein receptors in our cells. Best advice: Don't let alcohol destroy you.

  • PART 3: Tetrahydroisoquinolines are closely related in STRUCTURE, FUNCTION, AND ADDICTIVE POWER to opiates. Hence, the overpowering phenomena to pick up another drink. The chemistry of the brain is very subtle in it's quest to dance once again with anything that resembles opiates, because of the frenzy of neuro-excitement that comes with it. If that weren't bad enough, just keep reading. On the one hand you have neuro-euphoria, on the other hand you have a nervous system depressant.

  • PART 2: It doesn't stop there. Acetaldehyde courses its way through the blood stream and finds places in our bodies to "camp out." When it finds it's way to the brain, it befriends seratonin and dopamine, to of the brain's most powerful and influential neurotransmitters. Now two other elements are formed: Salsolinol and Beta-carboline. Just keep reading. These two "unheard of" new products are two of a group of inter-related and interconvertible compounds known as tetrahydroisoquinolines.

  • PART 1: There is a little known fact about alcohol that never seems to get any coverage in the press or media. Ethyl alcohol gets broken down in the body three ways, the most common pathway takes place in the liver. The liver produces an enzyme that breaks the molecules of alcohol and changes them into other separate and distinct elements. The one element that is to be considered the most is called Acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde is literally a poison. If you don't believe me, just google it.

  • good video

  • its not always psychological, it can be physiological and behavioral.

detoxing is the first step, and it is pretty tough. as hard as it is, it lasts a very short time. i kept relapsing because of insomnia, and avoided seeing a doctor because of costs/ effects on health insurance. what idiots like me didn't realize soon enough was that if you just see a dcotor to stop, the short term costs will be far less than what you will continue to spend on booze, drugs, etc.

    want to love life? quit.

  • I did it :) was a hard thing to do.

  • amen and ty for the vid. couldnt do it on my own either.

  • Try using the Dr Bob Beck brain tuner. It is supposed to help cure addictions.

  • its a motivational thing.

  • But it's not just will power. It's actually a brain chemistry thing.

  • yes partly. going through withdrawals is a major reason people revert back to drinking, but most alcoholics have gotten over withdrawals once or many times before, yet drink again in the future (im included in this- thank god ive quit for good).

i successfully weaned off once (drinking literally an ounce an hour for a few days) and it made w/d easy. i thought 'i can just do this every time' but who wants life to become a cycle of just being wasted and then spending more time trying to recover?

  • I got esophagus cancer from drinking alcohol. Can't cure it. I'm forty-two years old and have six months to live.

  • Wow. You are way too young. But I am sure you have a lot to offer the world.

  • Don't despair. Look up the Dr Beck Protocol and Rick Simpson oil. That will cure cancer. Also you need to eat only alkaline reacting foods and eat apricot kernels.

  • yer hot.

  • may I offer a suggestion that again brought to you by our beloved Bob Beck.

the instructons for building a C/S generator included instructions to build the blood electrifier, the pulse generator. for another $1

I took the instructions to build the CES BT-6 brain tuner but had to buy also a special proprietary chip for $25.

CES (cranial electro stimulation) is known in EU to treat successfully addicts, alcoholics and depression among other things.

    I used when in need.

  • Ahhh can relate to this, I lost many many MANY friends and relationships because of alcohol. So I QUIT!!!!

Now I have to start again, but it feels good :D

  • yeshua mashiach

  • Hypnosis or Self-Hypnosis works instantly and effortless. Research the Internet! There's a lot of information availabe.

  • like the accent..I would tap that :)

  • haha, same

  • ahhhh i would have to agree

  • its gotta be her lips

  • I wish I knew her when she was promiscuous. Anyway, glad to hear you are recovered.

  • rational recovery works great for me.I was able to instanty quit for good.

  • Its good to talk about embarassments. You tell me yours and ill share mine. Lol. Get into AA ! its working on me, and ive been 1 month sober now. NO SHIT. Know the 12 steps, and you will learn it really is a disease. Do not mess around with it cause the only thing that will happen finally is rapid insanity or early death. In the mean time get the anger and resentment out cause with that comes the mother shit load of depression, anxiety that will loop back to anger. Get to AA.

  • Rehab is for QUITTERS. Don't be a quitter. The world will end by dec. 21 2012. So why bother. Have a party every day. Every selfhelp book says it: Life's a party- live this day as if it where your last. Get loaded, get layed and do as you want. And if you don't want it, then just don't do it.

As she says: have your maind in the raight place

  • hell yeah...do as much as you can! the world is ending! schools out! god did it! fuck the neighbor's dog! no ones looking! shovel shovel!

  • eventually it transforms from something you 'want' into something you 'need.' and it consumes you; and then you may potentially die without it. the 2012 theories are a bunch of bs anyway.. y2k anybody? put your faith in the fact that the world will end, but if it doesn't, you will die a slow and painful death, not a quick and easy one. keep taking chances, and eventually your luck runs out.

  • The trick to stop any addiction or to get ready is this.Get MAD at yourself for what your doing. Hate the sight ,smell or the thought of the vice you need to stop doing.. Don't listen to the facts of you'll always be a alcoholic or wanting to start back that's wrong. That mind set is trap to fall into. Anyone you ever meet, who has quit and never went back didn't think like that...

Don't think to much about it or count days. Worrying makes you want, so figure out how to forget it totally

  • Does that work ? Getting mad at your ownself ?

  • nice of you to help people with drinking problems. im an alcoholic and drinking has messed up my life im sick and tired of it. im through with it. i wanna make myself healthier and make my wife happy. i have made the decision to quit drinking. your videos are a great help. keep up the good work and thanks!

  • I lost everything but im 1 month sober now (i still cant believe it). AA worked for me. If youre an unbeliever dont worry. Take the group as your higher power. It helps if you hit rock bottom before you walk in. Try it. You got nothing to lose.

  • Lol ! we have the same kind of phone!

what a small world we live in. Great video as usual

  • how did you get to this point? thanks

  • Thank you Manque. you are the first, you will not be the last

  • thank you for been so honest. I need to help myself first. As you said there is no magic cure...........only the need to stop.

  • Im afraid that my friend, is impossible for most of us. In this case, the need does not justify the means to be able to do it. Its a disease. Know your enemy (alcoholism) and know yourself. Its an ugly beast that cant be put down but only caged. If its lose, it will tear your heart out, dismember limb by limb while you watch and then finally bite your head off. Dont mess around with it. Get to AA, it worked for me.

  • Well you're NOT talking fast buy the way.

  • A traumatic experience like watching your only twin brother die before your very eyes. One last thing for those who drink. Make sure you stay away from over the counter Meds. Especialy Tylenol or anything that contains Actemedifen.

  • what does actemedifen do?...

  • If you drink on a daily basis, and take asparin/ tylenol/or acetamedifen ( dont know if thats spelled correctly) You might as well be pouring acid over your liver.

  • it's acetaminophen, which is also known as tylenol. it has caused liver damage all by itself, but we know how bad alcohol is for one's liver also.combined, you can almost surely expect severe liver issues. once may be ok, but continuing this for a while will cut many, many years off of one's life.

  • @manque15 correction acetaminophen

  • @manque15 Acetaminophen is very hard on the liver and if you drink a lot then take Tylenol with that kiss your liver goodbye.

  • @manque15

Makes blood vessels in the brain vasoconstrict, and if you do it to much, along with too much drinking/smoking esecially, you can have an aneurism and you could die, like my grandma :)

  • @manque15 Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol. It is also found in as an ingredient in many cough/cold medicines (such as Nyquil/Dayquil, Coricidin, Mydol, etc) and in both OTC and prescription "combination" painkillers - Vicoden, for example, contains a combination of acetaminophen and hydrocodone. Percocet contains acetaminophen and oxycodone.

Taking any drug that contains acetaminophen along with alcohol puts you at extremely high risk for liver disease / liver failure.

  • @blackdonnelly20 tylenol (acetominaphin ) kills ur liver all by its little self....add alcohol ur liver cries and gets mad at you

  • @blackdonnelly20 @blackdonnelly20 It's spelled "acetaminophen". Also, you really only have to stay away from OTC meds if you drink heavily. Three beers and a Benadryl or a couple of glasses of wine and some Sudafed aren't going to hurt anyone at all (assuming you only take the meds when you're sick / only occasionally).

  • I am still listening. Thank you. It helps when you know not alone.

  • You're right, you have to WANT to stop,if you stop because you think you should I

don't think it will work.I have been sober for seven months now, and absolutely love being sober, I can sleep, eat and have REAL enjoyment,my head is clear,my mind is sharper, and just do not want a drink no matter what.I had something happen over Christmas that caused me gut wrenching anxiety and still did not drink,it only makes things worse in the end.Great site by the way.

  • this is a great comment ty...I like the part when you say your mind is sharper and clear. And the fact that you got anxious and still stood by your guns. ty

  • I know what you're talking about. One question: Do you excercise? Cuz jjst my 2 cents but that for me really took it to another level for me in terms of also just getting anxiety OUT of your body instead of either (1) sitting there with it or (2) trying to numb or kill it by numbing yourself with cigs, alcohol etc. For me personally I can't tell you how much more balanced and HAPPY it made me feel. Trick was NOT to 'suffer' excercise just lift some weights n slowly u WANT more.

  • Glad you're doing well, I do not exercise but I am playing my guitar again, I just get

    so much relaxation from music.

  • you are a insperation

  • i know is going to be be hard to stop. but what should i do when i want it or if there is a temptation along the way. really feel bad because i have a beautiful son and wife that worries about me and i have told her i will stop before i want to make it happen please point me to the right direction.

  • is there someone there that can help me i need to stop drinking

  • You've already taken the first step...accepting you have a problem and want to change it...it will come and if you fall off the wagon...just get up dust yourself off and try again and again and again...

  • @ivanclopez good for you man, i can help. What's your question i haven't had a beer in over a year.

  • @ivanclopez Google SMART Recovery, SOS, soberrecovery, recovery chat, and beware of 12-step programs.

  • You are dead-on as far as getting your head in the right place. I wasn't able to to quit until the day I arrived to the conclusion that I could give up alcohol without HAVING ANY RESERVATIONS about living without it. No more looking back & thinking I would no longer be able to "have fun" without booze. Drinking had not been "fun" for years, & Thank the Lord for letting me reach that point where I could turn my back on it once & for all. Or rather letting ME LIVE until I no longer wanted it..

  • truth is there's no such thing as alcoholism. so-called alcoholic drinking is just one expression of a compulsive personality. the key to lasting and satisfying recovery, therefore, isn't simply to stop drinking but, rather, to move beyond the entire compulsive lifestye. takes more work than your typical recovery program but well worth it in the end.

  • Wow you are really cool ;)

You are talking about things which are very important. Greetings from the other side of the world.

  • Read "The Easy Way to Stop Drinking: A Revolutionary New Approach to Escaping from the Alcohol Trap" by Allen Carr and that should be all you need.

  • Thank you love. I need all the support I can get. This helped me think about how I could get moving in the right direction.

  • i think how u stop drinking is getting an alternative and getting the body into the routine of it, and not buying drink, its harder maybe if people buy it 4 u

  • I think you're right...the biggest thing is getting your head in the right place.

  • You overcame it MENTALLY ... that is the key... there is no magic solution someday you just get sick of being FUCKED UP.

  • We all know it has to stop, but you really got to do something about it to stop.

  • In the morning that horrible tase in your mouth is mostly due to cigs and tar. Bad breath, snoring, short of breath and chest pains (no youre not imagining this)usually follow soon after. Its good to get advise like this from people who have succesfully recovered, but do not be fooled. It is difficult for most. As long as you keep fighting it and with the right advise and approach, anyone can do it. I got help from some youtube members, and they really helped me through.

  • good stuff......its tough, but i went through a great change, something i saw and felt affected me enough to leave all that behind, it wasnt and still isnt easy....

  • Came across your video. Thats great advice! What's your ringtone by the way? Its marvellous!

  • Thanks for sharing this. My wife and I have drank like we were in colledge for the last 10 years. I have recently decided to take a different path and will be utubing my first 30days. Not sure if my wife will follow my lead as the flirting, moodyness, smoking and surrounding herself with other drunks has become something that has started to come between us. When you base your life choices around 'where is my next drink, and who am i gonna be drinking with' then you know its time for a change.

  • lols. Thats my problem. I never left college. And I started to fail exams so I worked out a way to still stay there - and then feeling guilty for my shameless abuse of their system I would need another drink. I just never wanted to finished O-week. Many times I have just stopped and did it easily I thought. But then because it was easy I went back. Now it has become habit. And bad habits, you either break them or they break you.

  • I feel sorry for you...for your ignorance..

  • you are such an ass hole the lady is trying to change her life so shut the fuck up you idiot!!!

  • wtf are you talking about, I was replying to someone that came on here talking shit...much like you are!

  • talking shit can be fun...alcoholism isn't fun :(

    I came that conclusion today.

    Thank you for posting.

  • :) yw

  • walk in an alcoholics shoes before you are so judgmental!

  • Walk in a dead-man's shows before you are so judgemental. A person walks across the street, everything going for them in life, except for the crazy bus driver who didn't see them. End of it.

  • One thing about drinking; You have to know when to stop.

  • I used to be an alcoholic myself. I am no more. I believe God can help the person.

  • Her struggle is still the same as mine....sigh...it is indeed a terrible addiction...

  • Vic, AA never worked for me. Not until I felt so miserable I wanted to die...did I have the chance to live sober. For many years I said "I would rather die than not drink" and I meant it. Thankfully, now after a miserable experience of losing almost everything dear to me, I can honestly say "I would rather be dead than HAVE to drink again".

YOUR inspiration and encouragement have mean't the world to me. Thank you.

  • I speak at Victim's Panels because my wife was killed by a drunk driver, and it is my feeling that the only way they stop drinking is when they finally get sick and tired of being sick and tired. Many still think the "fun" days of drinking will return....but they don't.

  • Dont tell anyone to go to Alcoholics Anonymous. That bunch is a Cult! Keep away from them. Think a lot of people go through that stage in their life when they think they might be a alcoholic and they are not.

  • AA was a huge help to me for 5 minutes so I would never steer anyone away from it. My thoughts on that is let them try it, if it fits that's cool, if not that's cool too.

  • Good one Vicky, was that your phone going off at the end. Haha.

  • :( yeah and I had so much more to say, like I forgot to mention the guilt trips etc...suppose thats another vlog! How are you any way.?

  • Nobody can help you until you are ready to be helped. Even then, you can only be helped the way you are willing to be helped.
